Welcome!! Glad to have you join us! Just to let you know since we are getting very close to the cut-off, and a reminder for others... If you are interested in the FE exchange, say so by Sept 1. (my birthday :cheer2: )

Welcome! Welcome to the cruise! I'm so happy to see more people joining us! I am having specialized lanyards made for the cruise. If you would like them, please let me know the first names of everyone in your family. :thumbsup2

For the lanyards..I am missing names from the following people:

meplus3
Staceycs
wiggles02
twilliams771
Eeyore1979
Angrypenguin
DisneyMomto3Boys--I know you just joined so it's cool

Sorry if you have already given me your names and I didn't catch them. Please give them to me again, or feel free to send me a PM. I am going to print the name badges this week--next weekend at the absolute latest!

GREAT JOB! :thumbsup2 And get thee to a store to buy summer stuff that fits while it's on SALE!!!

LOL :drive: I bought a couple of pairs of pants 2 weeks ago, and they are falling off...good but frustrating. I also expect that I will need some of these bigger pants once the puffing from all the sodium in the food gets to me. Course all the tempting yummy food is part of WHY we cruise!

Got all our documents now and our FE arrived yesterday. Found our return flights have dropped in price so I was able to get them adjusted!

Wow! That sounds super neat! We are Mark, Shannon (me), Braden (age 7), Keaton (age 5), and Cohen (age 8 mos).

What is a Fish Extender?

The quick answer is a gift exchange. Just to save myself some time of retyping all the details, check on our page 20, post #288. I just recently gave another family the low-down on Fish Extenders, or FE. Please decide by Saturday.

there are some great threads on DIS with awesome gift ideas! This is what helped me when i had no clue about all the FE hype! :goodvibes

I didn't know that was possible! What airline does this? Do you have to stay on top of it yourself? or did someone notify you? Was it a simple process or did they have to return your purchase price and repurchase the tickets?

we booked with southwest, and I check frequently, and you don't even have to call in, you can take care of it on the website. Even if its only $4 each, of course this time it was much more then that. Plus flying southwest allows us enough free luggage for the 10 or so days we are away.

Awesome! Thank you for your names! Would you like a lanyard for the littlest one? Also, in case we don't catch you before sail away...what is your room number so that I can deliver your lanyards? Thanks!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info! i wish i had known this last year when we flew SW. But i will keep my eyes open for next year! This year we are driving for the first time.

30 days to go!! This weekend's mission is to finish FE for oiur cruisr on the 22nd and print name badges for the lanyards!

Thanks, Sarah! When/where are you thinking we might have our meet?

I've only been on the Dream once, so I'll have to look up a good spot to meet. I was thinking around 3:15, but I'm not sure if that will interfere with DVC meeting and muster drill. What do you guys think?

I just googled and found a 2012 personal navigator online for the Dream 3-night Bahamas (4-night was not avail). It says the DVC meeting was from 2:30-3:30 and the Lifeboat Drill was at 3:45. I also checked one from 2011 4-night Dream cruise, and it was exactly the same times. So i would assume this schedule would apply to us as well.

Not sure what port times everyone has but we have the 11am check in time. We are good for any times y'all choose.

How about 4:45? Drill will be over, sail away party will be about over, too, I'd think...and it won't be quite time for dinner.

That sounds like it might be a good idea. According to the 4-night Navigator I just found (from July), the boat drill is 3:45 to 4:30, and the Sail Away Party is 4:30 to 5:15. Maybe we could pick a spot near deck 11 so that people could easily attend both a DIS meet and the party?

My family just booked this cruise so we will be joining you on the Dream. We are very excited and ready for some great Disney relaxation.
