Pauline, We had 3 nights at WDW booked and then free dining came out and we got an additional 4 nights for $150! I couldn't pass it up. SO yes, we are going for TWO weeks!

Your kids are so "stylish"...my fellas are pure tee shirt/ basketball shorts kinda kids..

That's called a school dress code. They must wear a solid colored shirt with a collar and then either denim, navy, brown, black, or green shorts/pants. There can be no cargo pockets, 'cause you know they might conceal something in there. I only slightly poke fun at it. It is extremely easy to buy clothes and get them dressed in the morning. "What color polo shirt today, son?"

Holy crap is right! The anticipation and waiting and planning has been killing me! And now it's almost here and I have pages and pages of posts to read through before meeting you guys! Thanks to all for the welcome Yes, I plan on going to the meet on Saturday at 3pm. I tried to send a PM to grumpy-grammy to ask about having a door sign made up and also sent one to Zane Anthony to talk about the goody bags for kids and I seemed to get an error message when I hit send. Not sure if they went through. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I am at work so not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Anyway, let the fun, magic and party begin!!!!!

Hey Vicky! No your message didn't go through. It may be because your post count is so low right now. We are making 50 goody bags for kids 12 and under. We have had several newbies in the last week so I am not sure what our count is at but if we are under 50 your kids are more then welcome to join us! You can see the list on the first page of what everyone is bringing and if you would like to contribute feel free. We are have a pre-lunch drink and stuff party at 11:00 Monday in Luimiers. If you can't make it that early you can bring your stuff to the Saturday DIS meet or just let me know when and where is a good time to meet and I will get it there for you. If you have any other questions let me know. Ohh and to the group.

Thanks for the info about Sue.....I didn't know she was away. I'll just try to keep reposting it in case anyone happens to be in WDW and going to the halloween party on 9/28.
As for the stamps Pauline....they do sell them on the ship and on CC. You can buy stamps on CC but I highly suggest you buy them when you arrive on CC. Don't wait until the end of the day because the line goes out the door ! Also, they take only cash at the little CC post office. I honestly can't recall the price.....it was 2004 we last bought the Bahamian stamp----I know it was around 50-70 cents ??? I'm sorry can't recall exactly since it's been almost 3 years. But definitely have cash.

Right now we have 100 pirate themed baggies and I just bought 60 surfboard ones today as back up and I bought some ribbon to tie them together. Do you think we will need more then 3 baggies a kid?

Count me in for the goodie bags. We're flying in so I'll have to pick something up once we get down there. Thinking maybe popcorn, pretzels or some other snack. We won't be able to go to the meet on the 28th b/c although we will be at MK that day, we are not doing the MNSS event and will be driving to Port Canaveral to sleep over at the Radisson to take the shuttle the next morning. Thanks for the invite though. See you on the 29th!

They are nice Vicky.....we had two connecting SPH rooms in 2004 on the Western. Enjoy ! They're hard to nab ! Deck 5 was so quiet too (except for the first and last day). The luggage area is in the hallway so you hear them literally tossing our bags into the luggage room.

But I thought it would be noisy because of the theater and kids' club etc, but it really wasn't. We really liked this deck. We had 5522 and 5524. Enjoy the room !!!

Been on four cruises...Never had sea sickness. You know they tried all those remidies on Mythbusters. The patch did not fair too well. Maybe it is in the head.

I did the happy dance at work today because after today, I have 3 work days left until vacation. And then for whatever reason my boss kept thinking today was my last day. I totally should have just gone along but my co-workers would have eventually clued her in.

Tonya: I think the last night the count was 45 or 47 kids so far.

Maria: Just got back from my doctor's and I've dropped off my prescription for the patch at the pharmacy... I've got every single remedy available for seasickness... I want to cover all my bases OMG.. I can't wait.. see you and your family NEXT FRIDAY!!! I sure hope we'll have nice weather.
