I am so excited about this cruise. It is our first, and we aren't sure what to expect. The things I ordered for the goody bags came in. I see some are already on this list, but I'll bring ours in anyway. They may not be exactly alike. Anyway, my friend and I are contributing some more gummy skull and crossbones, pirate tattoos, and some gold hoop clip-on earrings.

The kids will love the contributions and dups are just fine. For awhile we were going to have our little Pirates running around with 3 balls!

Everything you "need to know" is on page 1. Although Page 1 will no longer be updated with names as Sue is out of town! But the meet and greet is just an opportunity on day 1 for us to put names with faces so we can recognize each other around the ship. Then there's a more formal meet and greet on Monday for lunch!! Even though you're new - we'd still love to meet everyone. It sounds like the cruise is a lot more fun when you have friends on board!

Congratulations on the upgrade. We haven't read too many reports from our group about updgrades.

The goody bags are something we're putting together for the kids 12 and under. Notify Gr00vyChc via PM if you'd like to add your children to the list. Contributions are completely voluntary. On Page 1 is the list of things people are contributing. We're putting together 50 bags. With Halloween candy out now, finding something with 50 shouldn't be too hard but again, it's completely voluntary and is in no way an obligation!

Yeah, we got our docs today. How can I tell which dinner seating we are at? Is that included in the paperwork?

No, unfortunately I don't think so. From what I understand you only know if your main (6) or late (8:30) ahead of time. Then, when you board, they give you the KTTW card and your exact dinner time and dining room rotation is on the card.

JAC - Thanks for the heads up on CI&S, I'm going over to check it out, maybe I'll find a good deal too!

If you're going to the MNSSHP (Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party) at the Magic Kingdom the friday before the cruise, we will have a quick Hi and Bye Meet...... 6:30pm in front of Cinderella's Castle.

You're soooooooo lucky to be upgraded to a Cat 5. I just called the other day to see if we could get upgraded to a Cat 4 (we're in a Cat 6).. but the only categories left were 8 and 12 Enjoy the Verandah!

Wouldn't you know it our car is holding out but I have now caught a cold!!! Here I was getting after my DH to wash his hands and don't bring anything home from work and I'm the one who gets one!!!! Luckily we don't leave till Thur. next week so I am definitly going to be babying myself and sterilizing my family like CRAZY!!!

Congratulations on getting your docs!!! We'll have ours on thursday... so I have to wait 1 more day. Getting the docs make it seem even more real that we're going on vacation in 8 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know.. I found out YESTERDAY that they actually put your dinner seating time on your reservation.. so go to the DCL website and retrieve your reservation and it'll show on that page..

We have late seating too at 8:30.. we opted for late seating 'coz we normally eat late and we're in the west coast. I think either way, you can see the shows.. late or early seating. For us, we'll be watching the shows earlier.. I wonder which time is it more crowded in the theaters??

Hi MiniGirl: Would you PM me with your kids names under 12 and also your cabin# (we're making labels for the goody bags and we're putting this info on the labels).

Thank you! Found out we have one of the earlier seatings for dinner, which is cool. My boys couldn't make it to the late seating for dinner. On our last cruise two years ago, my middle guy was 3+ and fell asleep at the table at 8:30 while we were waiting for dinner :0)

We are very excited with our room and looking forward to enjoying the veranda for some late night beverages!

It can be the same thing. I'm contributing 50 pirate gummy snacks. Someone is contributing 50 candy corn packs. The kids are going to be excited with anything. I think even soome of us adults would love to get a bag! Now that I think of it, we should have put the bags together for us and said "Forget the kids"! After all, it's us that have paid for it, planned it, have to arrange all the traveling, etc. Just kidding. We all love our kids here which is why they're going to be spoiled with the bags!

I know!!! Today is our last 2 digit day and then tomorrow, it's single digits!!!! Today at work they announced who was going to cover what for my desk and I have to take the next few days and train people on what I do. It's really hard not to talk about the cruise at work, I know they must hate me right now.

I took my Airborne last night because 1/2 my office is out with the flu. Everyone should make sure to get plenty of rest and drink lots of water. We don't want to get sick before the cruise, right??

For those still waiting for your docs! But believe me when I tell you, they were very anti-climatic after I opened them! The only thing I think we can actually use are the tags we'll put on our luggage at the terminal and the Bahama slip!

Last night I remembered to check the front door and WE GOT OUR DOCS! Good thing you guys posted here about receiving yours, we go in through the garage and I may not have noticed the package for another week.

And LAWALZ - cute balloon story! I guess ya never know what kids will remember! Just saw you're in LI. We're in NJ and we LIVED in Sesame Place all summer. Got season passes and we made good use of it too - I wanted to get Fallon really comfortable around characters and it worked, in the beginning of the summer she was scared of them but now she LOVES them.

I know what you mean about getting used to the characters! Susan's kids would not go near the characters on that trip to Sesame Place so we didn't know how they would react as our first meal was at Chef Mickey's but Zach went right up to Goofy, and after Minnie gave Cassandra a hug she was hooked!
