I am a
DCL Virgin (and proud of it!!!

) but with all the reading I have done on this board this is what I know- there are CM's that wear pins and they have special DCL pins they can hand out. I've read about the special pins in a couple of TR's - where people have mentioned a CM going in to a drawer and pulling one out for the person. I also understand there's some pin book that you can flip through and exchange. Kind of like a "take one - leave one" thing. I don't get the pin trading thing though. DS has a couple of pins and they mean something to him. I can't imagine trading them. When we went to
Disneyland last March, my cousin bought a lanyard and then spent a lot of money filling it up with pins and she kept all her pins. I guess you'd have to know a lot about pins to make sure you were trading fairly. But me if I bought a pin, I would want to keep it.
Oh! Just looked it up in my Passporter (page 161) "You can buy all sorts of enamel, cloisonne-style pins on the cruise (there are about 500 unique cruise pins) to trade with others....Check your Personal Navitagor for trading sessions. The shopping supplement distributed daily highlights the featured pin for the day)."
Hope that helps!!
