September 29, 2007 - Magic

After I posted I realized this was my sister's id, I am lawalz23(lori). Thanks for the info on parasailing, wagnut65. My sister asked if the harness includes a life vest and what exactly do you mean about a dip? Do you land in the water? Two months until MNSSHP and the next day is the cruise!!:cool1:  :cheer2:

Ok I have printed out the circle pirate Mickey stickers. My question is does everyone want me to print out the other one with them all on the ship or possibly use this one I found...

The way that I print them I have to cut the circles out, which is ok with me but thought you might want one that is square and different than 2 of about the same design. Just wanted to get everyone's opinion before I print them out. It looks like I will be able to print out about 60 of each design so there is a few extra, may have a few more if there are no mess ups.

I vote for this one!

I vote for this one, too! :thumbsup2 It's wicked cute! pirate:

Yes you get a life vest...but its not part of the harness...they're seperate...the boat slows down and you float towards the water and once your feet hit the water...the boat speeds up its really cool!! then they reel you in and you land safely on the back of the boat.

We booked our airline tickets back on February 5, 2007 using frequent flyer miles. Since then I have been periodically checking the reservation making sure everything is still OK. The times of our scheduled flights have changed three or four times up until today. None of the previous time changes have affected our plans and they have been minor. Today I checked the itinerary again and low and behold...another schedule change. However, this one is not good. Our return flight departure time on October 6 from MCO to ATL moved from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM (arrival in ATL at 6:34) and our ATL to SLC departure time moved from 6:30 PM to 6:50 PM. That gives us exactly 16 minutes to deplane, find the next gate and board. Typically they stop boarding 10 minutes prior to departure so I guess we only have 6 minutes.

I've been on the telephone with Delta for the past 1-1/2 hours (and counting), most of it on hold. I spoke to a reservation agent who said I could change my return itinerary to earlier without re-ticketing charges, but I would have to talk to the re-ticketing department--which I have now been on hold with for over an hour. Hopefully, everything will work out...

Trent-

UPDATE: After being on hold for two hours I was able to speak to a re-ticketing agent. We ended up getting a non-stop flight leaving MCO at 5:53 PM arriving in SLC at 8:50 PM. The non-stop return flight will be nice and will give us more time in Downtown Disney before returning home.

Okay, I just checked ours. We're flying Delta as well. Our flight numbers to MCO have changed but not the times. However, our return flight has changed and instead of us getting home at 2 PM, they have us home at 6 PM. They have us with almost 4.5 hour layover  in Atlanta and that is just not going to work for us! That is insane! I've never flown Delta before but have never had an issue like this with other airlines!! I am angry! :headache:

Call reservations and ask for the re-ticketing department. Tell them that the flight times of your itinerary have changed and they will not work for you. They will, if there is availability, try to accomodate you. You should not have to pay any re-ticketing fees because of their schedule change.

I am flying delta too and my flights have changed 4 times :scared1: nothing major yet but i am off to check again..it's been about 2 weeks since i last looked

I've been trying to call but receive a busy signal. I really don't want to spend 2 hours on the phone tonight. I'm in the midst of mentally preparing myself for a very important interview tomorrow. I feel sick! All I keep thinking is 4.5 hours in an airport with DD!! :scared1: Airports are stressful enough!:scared:

What is going on here? We too received an email regarding schedule change. We're flying American. Arrive 10mins later than scheduled in MCO but coming back, we arrive 10 mins earlier in l.a. Which isn't so bad.... but I'm wondering why the change and not just for Delta but for AA also???? :confused3

JD: try getting stuck for 6 hours!!!!!!!!! we stayed on the plane trying to take off for lax from heathrow for 2 hours! only to have us all get off the plane and wait for another 4 hours!!! luckily jennifer aniston was on our flight and we saw her go to the first class lounge while we all stayed in our lowly lounge area..

We are flying NWA down on Friday and ours went from 7:40am to 7:15 now to 10:30 am! Luckily it is the day before but why all the change in times? We are flying Airtran home and they have changed a little but not much except we do have an hour and a half layover in Atlanta now. I just hope they don't change the time flying back any earlier.

We are flying Airtran from Chicago and our time changed from 3:30 to 12:30. Our return flight changed also from 3:15 to 1:45. I don't mind having to leave for vacation earlier  , but having to come home early is :sad2: :sad2: not good!!!

Our direct flight on United was cancelled and they scheduled us through Chicago...they assigned our 9 seats throughout the plane. Uh, excuse me, would you please make sure my 6 year old stays in her seat belt, I am seated 14 rows up if you need anything, thanks.

We were able to get our $$ back and rebook on Delta. That plane was basically empty so we booked our seats together...what a novel concept.

Just out of curiosity, did anyone get notified that their schedules had changed more than say 15-30 minutes? We didn't. All of the changes, and seat problems can often be fixed - if you know about it! And yet, as far as I can tell the airlines don't seem to care enough to notify anyone...

You all inspired me to check my flights. They've only adjusted by a few minutes, so nothing to worry about.

I'm not thrilled to hear about your time change as I am travelling with you and my return is still set at 3! Just so you know, I'm not hanging out at the airport!! Oh, wait, there is some decent shopping at the MCO airport....Hmmm, I might need to think about this.

Actually, Airtran did send us an email, and then even followed up 2 more times to make sure that we knew about the time changes. What a concept!

Don't forget that we now get to wait 3 hours :scared1: for you to arrive before we head to the port. You may want to think about that. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh!

Maybe you could look into all the great shopping at MCO? Or maybe you'll venture to Downtown Disney for a meal and then swing back by and pick us up?
