September 29, 2007 - Magic

Wow, I Didn't figure this would be such a hot topic! Thanx for all the suggestions from Pajama Party Reception (Which I like that one, and I got $20 Ragdolls for it too), To GG offering his Pants, Which my inseams about a 34-36, so those 28's would be more like shorts, but I appreiciate the offer! I can tell already with this kind of crowd, we are all gonna have a real good time!

The whole Wedding thing might be a good idea for the next cruise, but the idea of doing that on a cruise is a good one I think. But thats mainly up to her. What do ya think hun?? Heck, were not even engaged yet!!!

:rolleyes1 Hi All,
It sounds like we are backing up and regrouping, were going traditional..

Get a Mickey ring at WDW on Friday before the ship sails(it would ne a nice practice engagement ring) and NOW we have Deck 3 Prom Bar engagement party.. WOUNDERFUL!!!!!!!! I'll be there with my Grumpy PG's on..

Talk to Harry he will give you a few pinters, as in pints of rum :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:  so you can get a jump start on the party.

As far as Rags goes, it's better to "see" her in her PJ's then out of then popcorn:: :rotfl2: :confused3 :lmao:
Were gonna have a party one way or the other and it will probably be called alot of things before it's over but who cares what they say as long as we party hardy...
:bride: Shannon just PM me on who is in which room for the door sign..
gg

OMG!!! I am sitting here all by myself laughing so hard that I am almost crying.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: This is hysterical!:rotfl2:

You don't have to eat any of the courses. They are offered. You get to pick and chose which ones you partake of. DW and I skipped the breakfast part as we had an 11a seating. After the appetizers we went for the pizza course and then the lunch portion. As for the pizza, will you can decide for yourself, but from my view it is about like eating one of those frozen jobs and then making your own from scratch.

Chuck

Interesting point. Now my bigger concern is that all I'm going to do on this cruise is EAT!! popcorn::

popcorn:: Wow this is interesting. I'm going to have my wedding planned and all I have to do is sit here. I like this! I don't know about getting married right now, but geez if you guys are going to do all the work I might not be able to pass that up:woohoo:
:scared: But if that is what Mike thinks of me then I guess it's off.:sad1:

If Mike cancels going on the cruise, it's everyone's else fault!! I think what everyone MEANS to say is to proceed at your own pace but *should you* decide to get married on the cruise, we'd be more than happy to attend!

We definatley won't get married but I still like the idea of the Deck 3 prom bar PRE-engagement party!;)

Geez you guys have Mike hooked on here now. I think he has called me like 3 times from work this mourning asking if I read the board yet:rotfl:

When we get on board, you'll have to ask my Brother about his practice ring and that whole story...Wishing Well at Disneyland :cloud9: ...big surprise party :cool1: ...surprises for everyone involved!!! That was all 15 years ago! :scared1:

On a separate note...

UNITED SUCKS! Ok, most of the Airline industry probably fits into that category. We (our 9 person, 3 family group) were booked on United flight from Los Angeles to Orlando, NonStop. We (my family of 4) just got back from a visit to Indianapolis and it prompted the question of what seats do we have for our Disney trip:confused: .

So we asked our travel agent (my Dad, one of the 9) "DAD! What seats do we have on the plane going to Disney?" He says, "Let me check." :scared1:   :faint: Only to find out that our NonStop flight has been elimiated from the schedule, we have been re-routed through Chicago, and the 9 of us are scattered throughout the plane (no need to keep 6, 8 & 9 year olds with family...the whole plane gets there doesn't it???:confused3 ). The worst part here is that they didn't notify ANYONE! You can't go from NonStop to a change of planes and not change the schedule significantly...and that plane was nearly completely reserved.

Fortunately for our trip, we have a really good travel agent :thumbsup2 and he got us re-booked on Delta for flights that are NonStop, and close to our original flight times. (Cost us an extra $1000 though.) Now if something happens to that flight, I'm not sure who in the family will go postal first...

Ok, enough of my rant...but you might want to go check your reservations... :rolleyes1

OMG!!! I am sitting here all by myself laughing so hard that I am almost crying.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: This is hysterical!:rotfl2:

pirate: Hi again,
See what 4 nights of supper with grumpy-gramps gets you, remember what happends on a Disney cruise sort of stays on the Disney cruise, unless were on the boards...again! with is better than without... Is this considered :laundy: or :artist:, and here we have Harry not stiring the pot but I see this as :stir: mixing the drinks..
Now tell Harry to pint this guy up, so he doesn't forget the Mickey ring. Try DTD and if they are out the store at MGM (the one on the way to the Tower) has them too..
Remember practice makes perfect, I'm still practice-ing and I'm still not perfect.
Ibela,
All the rest of us will be eating so so join the club, it takes a bigger belt (for most of us) to become a member of the Castaway Club:lmao: :rotfl2: popcorn::
:coffee: popcorn:: Lunch is over I have to get back to work, I will be avaliable for incineration after 6pm tonight..

Thanx Ibella, and I appreiciate your concern, but at this point of only being 3 months away, you could probably bring a guillotine on board and a plank to walk off of and id still go. :thumbsup2

The Pre-engagement Party does sound like fun! We got an excuse to get in our PJ's and hang out at a bar now!!

Talk to Yall soon!!!

Aww, how sweet!! No wonder ragdoll likes you so much!

O M G! Funny you should mention this b/c last week I checked our flights online "for fun" to see how full they were and I believe the departure time changed!! I have to find my reservation # to confirm our flight numbers.

Interesting point. Now my bigger concern is that all I'm going to do on this cruise is EAT!!

One of the ways to counter the never ending food that the DW and I adopted on the first cruise was to eat only breakfast and dinner. From time to time we would have a stop at Cove Cafe for a tea in the afternoon and the cookie that comes with it. But over the two cruises we have not gained weight with this agenda.

Chuck

It is funny that Jay should mention flights today. I tried to book air this afternoon and it didn't go too well. Stupid story I won't bore you all with. Let's just say that due to my computer illiteracy and general stupidity the flight jumped in price before I figured out what I was doing. So we still all have Disney air...except for Mike and his grandma. They are on standby for Disney air. They may end up on a different flight than us but I am sure it will all work out.:thumbsup2 Shannon's kind of freaking out though...:crazy2:

:surfweb: Hi Rags,
What are your travel dates?? I just looked and though not the best $303.00 round trip via us air, Cleveland to Orlando.. and a stopover or two but the price seeeemed right..
Delta $199.00 round trip (each) this was the day before sailing and returning on that saturday evening..
gg

We're flying Delta and there doesn't appear to be any changes to the flight schedule. The fare went up and that makes me happy. Not happy for others but happy I booked it when I did!!! :cool1:

So, is that a "no" to the surprise wedding???  It really seemed to interest a lot of people and you don't want to disappoint us on our vacations, do you? :flower3: You could do the wedding and annul it when you get back to Ohio!

So, speaking of gaining weight with all the yummy Palo food and other food around the ship, gotta get to the work out! Keep the laughs coming, the recent posts have been hilarious!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Won't they change the seat assignments when you check in? Doesn't make sense to separate children from their parents. I don't know about you but I don't think I'd want to be on a flight next to somebody's kid when that somebody is 12 rows away! Can you imagine the constant, "HEY MOM!! Can I have a snack?" "Hey MOM! Can I play with my video games?" and the back and forth down the aisle. :headache:

:thumbsup2 :cool1: :cloud9:  ,
Just paid off my 4 cabins and I'm driving so I won't worry about air travel except for my DD and 3 DGC (Disney grand children) but it's to early for jet blue to make changes, next month will be another story..

Hey GG & JD, We all got our flight together, its all figured out now. :cool1: Ragdoll even had to come over and make sure we reserved correctly. Good thing she did cuz we probably would have screwed it up. So, Were all set up now!!!

Now the only thing I'm worried about is the plane, its a big fear of mine.:scared: But ill get over it.
