I'm going out to check the mail RIGHT NOW.

Welcome back, Zane. A lot of people seem to be MIA and I'm thinking maybe it's school winding down, weather warming up, sports seasons starting or they're tired of seeing all my posts??

So..since I have nothing to plan or reserve (except Palo when I can!!) I have a new task!!! I've read many TR's where the DIS people wore something to let each other know they were DIS! Like, lei's, bracelets, etc. So, since there are so many of us and knowing people on the ship sounds like a whole lot of fun (besides the people you checked in with, of course!) I'd like to get some ideas as to what people would like to wear so we can know who are internet buddies are? Oh yeah, and should we give ourselves a group name like DISfunctional?!!? Come on people, now's the time to share!!

Great Idea! What can our name be? I like the idea of wearing something too. Are we still having a DIS meet? Too bad none of us have the Walt or Roy suite I have read about some really cool DIS parties they have had in there.

You know, I thought there was a DISer sailing with us that has one of the suites. I remember chatting with him a little bit but haven't seen him on here since then.

I was just thinking about what we can wear... Maybe a ribbon? Everyone should be able to find lime green ribbon in their towns? Just a thought. Totally would love to hear others share!!

And yes, still want to do the meet!!! I read a recent TR where they met in the Promenade??

ok.... so sometimes i just get on and don't say anything but you guys are like my bed time "nightcap" so when i finally get some energy to get all "DIS" again(it's coming as soon as baseball is done) you'll be all jajomo"ed" out...just you wait and see...lol....and what is everyone getting in the mail? I didn't get nothing!.... come on share....

and i like the group name thing it reminds me of Harry Potter's DA (ok so i'm a "POT" head too) a girl can have more than one vice.....

so funny you say that...i was thinking " Muggles on the Magic" as you see i am a big Harry fan too !!!

it's just a book that has all the information i already knew from DIS..excursions, dining information, kids club information, documents/packing, etc..

I think we need a new list.
I now have my DNDN (next door neighbors) John and Urusla coming, plus DS and a friend (????), my brothers DD, her DH and DD are also coming.
I will be wearing DIS Green the day we arrive and will have a name tag on the rest of the cruise. Will post picture tomorrow...

I glanced through it, nothing new jumped out at me except for the Jewels of the Sea gift that someone on the main board was asking about so now I know what it is.

I don't think I own anything lime green but I will have on my door the beautiful sign that gg made!

I'd love to party it up in someone's Roy or Walt Suite - I second that idea!

Congrats on getting your packet!! And I know what you mean about the Jewels of the Sea - I thought the same thing, "So, that's what they're talking about."

I'm still waiting for people to post ideas about the lime green thing. Ideally, I think we should come up with an idea and people make their own. Something simple would be good!

I have to admit I've been lurking ...been busy, but mostly lurking Couple of updates were requested so here it is...it's been quite a while since this got posted.

On a separate note, DisneyNut1955 (David & Monica) said they had both the Walt and Roy suites...haven't heard from them in a while, hopefully all is well with them. And of course, I hope they are still cruising with us...

I feel like I have been away forever! I had so much catching up to do. It has been so busy but with only 2 days of school left things should start slowing down. I got the book in the mail too, it's so exciting to receive things from Disney. I am also waiting on a DVC mailer about AKV that's going out. Mia have you received yours yet? Some people on the DVC boards say they have already received theirs. I haven't forgotten about the rest of my trip report. Hopefully I will get back to it soon, I just have to go back and see where I left off. Well I just wanted to check in and say HI.

Well we got here to Florida safe and sound. The weather is nice although pretty windy. My parents live about 45 min south of Orlando. We are going to Epcot one day next week and dd is going to BBB tommorrow.

I like the idea of wearing a green ribbon since like someone else said you should be able to find one in your home town. Not sure of a good name for us though. I didn't get to look through the packet a whole lot before we left so I will have to check it out when we get home.

Being here though really has me excited about Sept!! Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend!

Nope, not yet ? What's in the packet ? I've gotten a simple mailer when they first introduced the VAK ? Is this something different ?

As for the lime green......anything anyone comes up with is fine with me !!! I wore a lime green shirt on our last cruise. We had a DIS'er meet at the icecream area.

I'm all about goin with the flow for this trip...(any name is good as long as i don't have to think it up) .........i just really really can't wait to get away.....you know how sometimes you don't even like your own friends for awhile, well i'm in one of those slumps... i can't wait to meet all of you....and get the !%$# out of "DODGE"....
