2027 Member Cruise

It took me 2 hours and 18 minutes from my dial in after 12:30 pm, wait in the queue, and book the cruise. We got our 11B, and we were assigned a stateroom in my first choice location by luck. I was able to use the $300 Disney GC from opening the Disney Inspire card towards payment.

Happy that is over. I am sorry for those who were unable to book, but maybe call Member Services next week to see if there are cancellations/waitlists. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Would you all mind sharing what the draw for these cruises are from your perspective? We have never been on one but did love our Wonder cruise and have a Treasure cruise booked for January. It’s just they are already very expensive and with the members cruise being even more money im trying to figure out what the draw is? Do you get a bunch of stuff, is it the entertainment offerings etc? Thanks for helping me better understand and decide if we should start a fund to save up, lol.

The Member Cruises have traditionally been very special in terms of guests and events onboard (sort of like a mini-D23 Expo) as well as more elaborate gifts than on a normal Disney cruise. As mentioned above, this one spends an entire day docked in San Francisco (2 nights), which is the location of the Disney Family Museum, with Pixar and Lucasfilm headquarters also being nearby. The description of the itinerary on the member website hinted that SF would be the site of particularly interesting excursions, and that was the draw for me (but we ultimately decided on a completely different cruise). I expect to be jealous of those who do this MC.

Did they get an email or did they just call in to purchase?

I'm not sure. My guess is she called in and it became available while she was booking another cabin. I think that since the cruise wasn't sold out yet, the cabin returned to inventory (they may not have paid yet) before they used the waiting list

I'm jealous of the money you saved, lol. I wanted to do inside, 11C, but my husband vetoed it; he needs at least a little natural light to wake up in the morning. So we did 9C.

We've done Member Cruises before and that's how we learned we don't need verandahs for these sailings. There's a lot of going on and we're big nerds so we don't miss anything, so we realized we weren't using the verandahs enough to justify them. But apparently we still need a [$500] window

We did a 12 night Mediterranean on DCL in an 11B. I spent a lot of time on deck 10 taking photos as we pulled into ports. We normally book Oceanview or Verandah.

Hoppers more important family time than this mess. This cruise isn’t going sell out today. They may be begging us to come on it soon.

Btw @Wedgeout , I think I'm glad I postponed our movie outing since it sold out today! It's ok, we'll see the movie soon and the family did a Disney jigsaw puzzle while I waited to compete the booking. Are you going on this cruise, too?

Once it got properly running again at that 12 noon eastern. It turned out more family fun waiting with hold music & everyone at your home taking part in the excitement.

Minimum price without using points for the two of us here was still more $$$ than had on hand. 7 nighters are tough on the savings.

Did my first Disney cruise on Wonder from San Diego (4 nighter) Feb 2023. (Living California, set up parking our car, at hotel right across the street from ship!). The 2023 Wish Member Cruise (4 night) was really fun. Would definitely do one again!
