He can suck on some hard candy, drink something or take some Benadryl. The swallowing helps. And usually, it's landing that can be hardest on the ears.

Oh my gosh I hate packing!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been at this for a couple of hours now and I want to scream!! The kitchen table is loaded with stacks of clothes.

I have a headache. I'm going to call it quits for tonight and tackle this monster in the morning!!!

I HAVE A HEADACHE FROM SOME WORK I HAD TO DO FOR MY JOB. THE PACKING IS NOTHING COMPARED TO READING THE SMALL TYPE AND ANSWERING QUESTIONS IN AN ON-LINE QUIZ.

WE HAVE SUITCASES ON THE HOPE CHEST AND LOVE SEAT IN THE BEDROOM. IN A TINY CONDO THERE IS NO PLACE TO PUT THEM FOR PACKING AND WE CANNOT FINISH, ZIP THEM UP AND STAND THEM BY THE DOOR UNTIL DH DECIDES ON HIS DAY AND EVENING CLOTHING.

WE LEAVE FRIDAY NOON. I HAD WANTED TO BE MORE PACKED THAN THIS, BUT HE HAS HAD WORK COMMITMENTS BEYOND THE NORMAL 12 HOUR DAYS HE PUTS IN.

Safe travels everyone. We live just south of the Cape, so we aren't leaving until Saturday -- around noon.

Ear planes ! Swear by them !!! I have had some horrible problems when I don't use them !

Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens all sell them.....they also offer them in their generic brands which work just as well.

Back to packing ! I'm going crazy here remembering last minute things we need !

Thanks for keeping us posted, tfc3rid! Glad to hear it's looking better. I had hopes of enjoying the pools and sunny deck after we board on Saturday.

WE LEAVE FRIDAY NOON. I HAD WANTED TO BE MORE PACKED THAN THIS, BUT HE HAS HAD WORK COMMITMENTS BEYOND THE NORMAL 12 HOUR DAYS HE PUTS IN.

We have to be up at 3 am tomorrow to make our 6 am flight. I'm starting to think I should have started packing over the weekend. I got about 8 hours of sleep last night so I feel a little refreshed but I also have anxiety because I have to see the dentist today.

I guess I'll be here all by my lonesome soon. That's okay. I can't wait to meet up with everyone on the ship.

It's sad watching the group dwindle but it's also exciting. The activity has lessened this week, that's for sure. I'll be popping in and off today, hopefully!

Weather Update:

1. Tropical Storm Karen. TS Karen is located west of the Lesser Antillies and is encountering some heavy wind shear. It is continuing to move northwestward across the Atlantic. It looks like TS Karen will not gain strength for the next few days and will move about 500 miles North of the Lesser Antillies by early next week. It may impact the US East Coast late next week. TS Karen will likely cause us some choppy waters.

2. Disturbance 97L. Has been declassified by the National Hurricane Center. No worries.

3. Disturbance 98L. This low level center is presently off the Florida East Coast. It's expected to move northeastward over the next few days.

All in all, things are looking much better at this time!
