I didnt see a posting for the cruise me and my husband are going on for our 2 year anniversary so i thought i would create one. Is there anyone else going on this cruise?

Me and my family will be there too! We're looking forward to it; it's our 1st cruise. My DD will be 4 and should enjoy it too.

I just heard about fish extenders and am thinking about joining in on the fun. I also saw some pics online of things that were put on the room doors by various people and was wondering if you knew where to get some of those great magnetic disney door tags. I hear Disney only allows magnetic things to be put on the doors and no sticky stuff like tape. Any idea where I can find out more about this?

Me and my husband will be on our 2 year anniversary we cant wait disney cruises are the best. we did a Fish Extender(FE) exchange on our honeymoon cruise and it was great most of us just gave gifts for one night(since we were flying it made it easier for packing the stuff to bring with us) I made a photo album for every cabin and did a bag for each couple and for the kids in the stateroom. There is a post for FE ideas and one for homemade FE gifts and the actual fish extenders that go outside your door and hang from the fish that is usually used for mail on the ship.
The magnets are easy to make and there is also a post on here where some very talented people will create a magnet for you if you like one of the ones that they have made and they will have your family name and they can make ones for each family member. I will try and find the posts for the FE's and the gifts. I'm glad im not alone on here anymore

Hi I am bgcmd DH we are very excited to be going on this cruise and celebrating our DD 4th birthday the boat looks amazing...I cant wait to ride the duck...For a surprise to the family yesterday I went ahead and upgraded to a Family Oceanview Stateroom With Verandah You cant tell the DW though shhhh ..Just kidding she already knows I am terrible at keeping a secret hey perhaps we could meet on board.

I spent all weekend looking at the FE threads, but I didn't see anything on homemade gift ideas, so I'll have to add that to my TO DO list The magnets I saw on the thread were so cool. I hope to contact one of those talented DISers to make us one.

Me and my husband cant wait to ride the duck either thanks to our honeymoon on the Wonder my husband is hooked on cruising and he loves the disney cruise we have gone from being on deck 7 on the wonder to being on deck 10 on the dream so i cant wait to see the view we are on the very back of the ship.

if you go to the werft meyer website they have a webcam and you can see the Dream being built and they have just added the first smoke stack so the first half of the ship is pretty much done so now they have started on the back half. They update the pictures everyweek i cant believe how big it is going to be but now that the Cruise ship from Celebrity is out of the shipyard the whole building is for the dream. Its cool seeing how much it changes each week

We will be setting Sail on the Dream, & boy we can’t wait! Evan and I really enjoy cruising and WDW. Last year we sailed the Wonder & then spent 8 days in WDW, this year we will do WDW 1st and be sailing on RCCL after. Last year I found out that it is better to do the parks first and the cruise after. I hope that we can do a meet & greet once aboard & do fish extenders. Evan & I can’t wait to meet you guys

we did the wonder cruise last year for our honeymoon we do the parks before the cruise that way we can relax the last half of the trip it was nice and we will be doing the same thing when we go next year. Welcome to the board and i am up for a meet and a FE we did one last time and it was great

Welcome Evan and Kim my family and I look forward to meeting as well.This is our first cruise and we are very excited about it.You guys mentioned you are first staying at WDW before the cruise we decided to stay at WDW after the cruise.I got to look into which dvc resort will have something open at that time but I was thinking in staying with the cruising theme by staying at OKW or perhaps BCV.Hopefully I think we will be able to spend a few days relaxing and not walking around the parks that much since we have been to them a few times before around "60" .Maybe we will be go to a couple ADR to celebrate our DD 4th birthday. More than likely though I can imagine our DD wanting to go visit the mouse himself mickey.She really loves him while waiting in line when she sees him we have to hold her back like horses at the starting gate of a race.Then after visiting with him for a few minutes we have to drag her away so that other people can see him and she always gets very at us.

Thanks, Last year we did WDW after the cruise and boy I will never ever do that again, we were still in cruise mode at WDW, so this year Parks first cruise after. Well Evan and I cant wait to meet you guys & we hope you all had a Happy Easter!

We just booked on this cruise and we're sooo excited! It will be the first cruise for all of us. We're also planning on doing 5 nights at Disney World before hand Now to impatiently wait for it to come!!

Thanks!! Yeah, we're very excited. We've gone to DW several times (we took our little one twice last year) but we had to skip this year due to medical bills. We're very excited to go next year though!! We have three cabins on Deck 9 since my parents wanted a verandah room and my famliy and my brother wanted inside rooms..Are we going to be doing these Fish Extenders on this cruise??? I was reading about them and they sound fun!
