Marsha - sorry to hear about your situation. Putting my HR hat on now - is Florida an employment at will state - I can never remember. You definitely need to see in writing how your role is changing and why they cannot make accomodations for you. Normally in a situation like this the company will put the person into a different/new role as to avoid the potential legal implications. I am happy to chat this over with my legal team if it would help.

Speaking of work - I am so heading into vacation mode and starting to drift during the day to thoughts of beaches, drinks, mickey, drinks, shopping, drinks...... so see what I mean!

Marsha- I would LOVE to meet you at the hotel before the cruise!

I really need to meet Mike and his better half before the cruise also. I really don't have an excuse since he lives about 10 minutes from me....

Chris- Did you book through a TA or Disney direct? The reason I am asking is because we transfered our res to DU and I kept checking their website to make sure our room had not been changed. Well, when I pulled up our res last week on DCL website it showed our room had been upgraded but it still doesn't show any change on DU website.

Just a thought.

Question about Lumiere's - According to the Passporter, dress for this Lumiere's is upscale casual (or something like that) and they recommend a jacket. I thought that I read somewhere else that dress for dinner was by night, not by restaurant (except Palo). I am assuming that slacks and a polo shirt would suffice for Lumiere's on non-formal nights. Is that accurate or is the Passporter correct?

I was hoping to do some star gazing while on the cruise, but we have a full moon on Wednesday. I remember being in the middle of the ocean provided some really amazing night skies back in my Navy days.

Marsha - sorry about all the problems. You are a survivor it seems so hang in there.

We will be at the Country Inn and Suites for when you guys need a place to crash after being to rowdy at the Radisson.

Also IMHO the italian restaurant across the street from the Radisson is not very good.

Oh, so you think the crowd at the Radisson is too roudy?!? Wait a minute I am staying there on the 21st! PARTY!!!!!!

Mike, I'm glad for you. Now where are my documents? They must be going in alphabetical order.

Bob, You will be fine in a polo and Dockers in Lumiere's. I know Steve will wear something like that. He will only wear a suit on formal, semi-formal, and Palo nights.

Hi Everyone! I've been away for too long! With school, gymnastics and girl scouts all starting up again, it seems we're on the go all the time. Plus the baby is now crawling and pulling up on everything, so computer time is a luxury these days!

But I just had to check in with you all to say it's my turn to do the document dance! I totally forgot to check the front door and Eric just came in and said "I can't believe that I'M the one that found this" and set the envelope on my lap. No upgrade here, but I'm glad because we liked being by the midship elevators last time and wanted to be there again.

We'll be at the Residence Inn on Friday night as well.
Grand Cayman Recommendation: Captain Marvin's Snorkeling and Stingray Tour is #1. You can walk there from the tender port and book online.
Key West: We'll be spending a good part of the afternoon at the Half Shell Raw Bar and I'm buying the first few pitchers! 10 min. walk from the pier and the freshest seafood and best conch fritters around! All are welcome to join us.
Well, gotta go stand by the mailbox - it's almost tomorrow!
