Marsha - sorry to hear about your situation. Putting my HR hat on now - is Florida an employment at will state - I can never remember. You definitely need to see in writing how your role is changing and why they cannot make accomodations for you. Normally in a situation like this the company will put the person into a different/new role as to avoid the potential legal implications. Speaking of work - I am so heading into vacation mode and starting to drift during the day to thoughts of beaches, drinks, mickey, drinks, shopping, drinks...... so see what I mean!
