I mean do you have to be a member of something, or a Visa holder or Costco or.. ? I have never rented using any type of discount code and have only had to rent a car once in my life and it was 10+ years ago, lol, so I know things are different now! Just don't want to reserve with a code that I don't qualify for, if that makes sense and show up and not be able to use it.

Yep, that's why i wrote; make a test booking. All to the end, online check inn all the way to your skip the counter confirmation.
This code originally for Lufthansa employees. Now availlable for everyone. But your proof of the pudding is in the booking

Just priced a car using that Vegas Brazil code. For me its coming out about 60-70 dollars more than the codes I had already used. Using the AD2338FDF and 7014627 codes (which I believe are Costco and Southwest) I can get an 8 day rental for a Premium at about $219 out the door.

Are you sure this code is available to everybody? Just because the reservation goes through, it doesn't mean people who aren't employees are supposed to use it. (The Alamo website would have no way to verify if you are an employee...)

I think the language barrier might have led to a misunderstanding. I did not intend to be insulting to you.

I only meant to say, just because you can complete the booking does not mean you are supposed to. I was only wondering if you had read or seen somewhere that this code may be used by everybody. Where do I find the Alamo conditions of this contract ID?

Thanks, that says Lufthansa employees only. The PP said it is not available for everyone to use.

I don't see any restrictions with the Vegas brazil code. As far as the visa code goes, I'll just pay with my Disney visa. I've never had any issues using various codes when renting cars. I'm feeling pretty confident I'll be ok with the codes that I have used.

Joining in. Am taking the "kids" (27 and 29) to WDW in September. Prices look high right now. Currently have a midsize car for $267.89 for 9/17 - 9/23 with Dollar using Dollar express and AAA code. Pretty sure I'll get something cheaper by travel time!

Edit: Everyone should check Alamo, their rates seem like they've come way down for September as of today

Thank you for the heads up! Saved $100. Just an FYI to those who were using the Brazil code... It still showed the old rate for me but no codes was almost $100 cheaper and Costco actually was $100 cheaper.
