The opening games of Major League Baseball next year will NOT be televised.

mlb blackouts are ridiculous. I live in NC and can't watch my team when they are playing Cincinnati, among other teams, but that one seems really odd to me.
Why can't you watch? The games are streamed? They can't have local blockouts with streaming as people have learned how to use a VPN to get around them.

Streaming technology is different from traditional TV.
Isn't that why everyone is moving towards streaming? People can't watch traditional TV on their devices. No one under 50 subscribes to Cable TV and their customers are literally dying off. MLB needs to move to a streaming only platform to attract younger viewers.

Nascar had 5 or 6 races that were on Prime... seems to be the way of things...
And Amazon blew everyone away with their coverage to the point that people have been asking to have it exclusively on there for the entire season. Won't happen but I would love it!

I am a sports nut. I will, and do, pay to watch sports. I will pay for Netflix in December to watch football and will probably pay when baseball starts. I pay for ESPN+ for my Hockey fix. I already have Prime so TNF and other sports are covered. Heck I even have Willow for Cricket :).
