Thank you very much. Question on the coupon code, on the summary of charges page, it says coupon applied, subtracts the $30, but right underneath, says coupon applied (again) and adds the $30 back on. So the bottom line price does not change with the coupon. Am I doing something wrong? :confused3

Same code I tried and the same thing happened.
A lot of times, coupons can only be paired with certain codes.
Apparently this one cannot be combined with the KLM code.
You get the same price with or without the coupon.

That is weird, I am not seeing it on my reservation, it shows applied and subtracted, but never adds it back on, not sure what is going on.

FYI-the bjs coupon code, NDA2324BR, I believe expired. I belong to BJS and I am looking on their car rental sheet. The only coupon they offer for national is for one car class upgrade which is coupon code nu3767zdw. I did use 8572130 with the new bjs coupon code and did get a free upgrade. I used the old bj coupon code and it did put the 30 back onto the rental. coupon code nu3767zdw is valid through 12/31/14.

Just got an intermediate through Budget for 9/15-9/21 for $181! I used the BCD Code W852875 and MUGZ061 ($40 off) so pretty excited about that!

Well, I got that coupon code to work with the KLM code...I logged in using my emerald club membership, changed to the KLM code, and got a minivan from September 13-22 for $332 out the door. Pretty ok with that for now, but I will not pay that for it, the price almost always drops sooner to time, and I am always testing Priceline with ridiculously low bids (like $8 a day) right up until we get off the plane. I've been very lucky for the past 10-12 years, never paid more than $200 for 9-10 day rentals.

Here's some other deals for people to consider.

On Budget, an intermediate reservation for 1 week (9/20-9/27) for $160. The lower price comes from choosing the 5770 Irlo Bronson location, which it says has a pick up service from Disney.

Budget also has a "Pay Now" option which brings the price down to $141. As the name suggests you are paying now, and if you want to cancel later, you get refunded minus a $10 fee. Once you take away the taxes, this rate is pretty low at $14.57 per day ($102 for the week).

Using this option, even the small/medium SUVs become more attractive at $214 for the whole week.

We have 3 kids, 1 in car seat and 2 in boosters so we prefer something larger to make sure the seats all fit well. We ended up choosing what they label the Standard Elite SUV which was $231 for the week and seats 7 instead of 5. The extra $17 to get the 3rd row is totally worth it for us. And $25.92/day before taxes for a 3 row SUV was good enough for me to lock it in.

Finally, the pickup at Irlo Bronson was fine but the return was much more convenient for us if I could return to MCO. Changing this gave me the exact same prices, so that was a bonus. The non-SUV prices were a bit higher with the different return location, but the SUV prices all looked like they stayed exactly the same.

Good luck with your searches!

oh man, you all seem to be having much better luck with your minivan prices. Unless I use the 50% off Alamo at undercover tourist I'm always at about $1000 after tax for Sept 27 - Oct 8. We are flying in and out of Tampa, but that really shouldn't make a difference for price. I've used the KLM code and joined Emerald and various other clubs to try and get a better rate but it looks like for now, $600 is the best I can find. Any more tips?

Flying through Tampa definitely makes a difference in your price.
I always have higher prices if I fly through Tampa.
Every so often, right before My trip, the price might drop lower than Mco, but usually not.

I have a convertable booked at Tampa Airport for $313.00 for September 27 to October 4. I used the KLM code. Not too bad but I am hoping ot will come down:) I think I will check out using that coupon with it.

I used NDA2324BR, but it added the 30 back on, so really didn't work. can you tell me how you make it work with KLM code? thanks.

Can you please tell me where you found this coupon? Can I print it out and take it with me?

It was either on mousesavers or another thread.

I have never needed the coupon it is all electronic.

So glad I found this. Staying at CBR, but will be visiting family after myna disney trip. By using Budget and picking up at Irloo or Downtown I am saving 1/2 of what I would have paid now that I can use the coupon codes. Great find, I live all the savings. Now paying OOP for a character breakfast the day we leave is not so painful.:cool1:

That's awesome! Glad you were able to save so much!
I am amazed at the price difference between MCO and the locations just outside WDW!

Monday morning is off to a good start:cool1:As I was :surfweb: I checked in on this thread and thought I should check out my reservation to see if prices had dropped...and they did...I went through Car Rental Savers dot com and had already secured a standard with Payless for $189 total...today the price is down to $166 everything in....may the day continue on this way:goodvibes

Regarding the $30 code that it subtracted, but added back on, I played around with it a bit. It added the full $30 back on for a midsize, but for each higher class that I chose, it added a smaller and smaller amount (bigger car = bigger discount).
