I think this Tour Guide Mike website is SUPER hard to follow. I still haven't even found the touring plans yet. Can anyone help me navigate the website? :scared1:

I am having a hard time figuring out what I want to do for my dd -3's ticket. The rest of us have 8 days/hopper/water park no expire tickets (we bought ten day ones last time we went). Should I buy her one of those? I kind of regret these tickets because I can't participate in any of the package offers. But then again if I stay off site again this is totally worth it. Ugh. I know I have plenty of time but if I try to show DH the numbers and talk about it he is going to get all glassy eyed and say "uh-huh, whatever you think is best"................

:lmao::rotfl2:

Seen that look and heard those words a time or two myself.

Uh huh. How many times have we talked about that before?????:headache:

And what's our response??

"Never mind. I'll message Shelly/Jodi."

:rotfl2:

You HAVE to have someone to talk Disney math to that understands.

Otherwise your brain explodes.:upsidedow

I think it'll be much more straight forward once the September 2011 Express Planner is posted. I used touringplans last vacation and found that confusing. The forums on TGM are great. I posted my itinerary a few hours ago and already got some great feedback that really helped.

Oh, I get the glassy-eyed look all the time. This weekend DH asked if I wanted to do a split stay in September and try out another resort. I said "Was there a resort you were thinking of?" His response? "Whatever you think would be fun"

Really? :headache:

So, I asked if he would like to try Grand Floridian. "It's nice, but I'm not sure it's worth the money"

Okay, how about an Epcot resort? "Meh, not sure if any of those do anything for me"

AAAAHHHH!!!!

So, unless he comes up with something soon, we are just keeping our week at CR. I've been trying to add a day, but there's no availability, so maybe we'll try another resort the last night just so we don't have to drive home late.

So excited was going to stay at the Pop, decided to really splurge and stay at the Wilderness Lodge Sept. 10-17. I think I'm more excited than my 15 year old daughter (I know I'm more excited than my DH--he seems like he could care less). I have enough excitement for everyone::)

How exciting! :welcome: I have you added to the first post! :woohoo:

Good fot you! That is such a beautiful resort :lovestruc I am staying at POFQ! I too have a 15 year old DS and a DH who's eyes glaze over when I talk about Disney....which is daily! :cloud9:Everyday I have a better idea for our ADR's, so i run it by him for an opinion and he nods his head, as he looks through me  My DS is pumped for his fav restaurants!!!!

Ok... I need help again. This is what I'm thinking now, and want to see if this sounds ok and then I'll fill in all of the details. I know that MK on the 8th isn't really recommended, but we MUST do MK on our first day! :goodvibes We will be having 3-4 hour long mid-day breaks on all park days.

7 - Wednesday ~Hang out at Pop - Dinner at another resort
8 - Thursday ~ Magic Kingdom
9 - Friday ~ Magic Kingdom
10- Saturday ~ Animal Kingdom
11- Sunday ~ Epcot
12- Monday ~ Epcot
13- Tuesday ~ Hollywood Studios
14- Wednesday ~ Favorite Park and move to AKL
15- Thursday ~ Hang out at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Downtown Disney
16- Friday ~ Pack and enjoy AKL more

Happy Wednesday September peeps!

Congrats to everyone who has booked airfare. The prices here aren't the best anymore either.

L-Harper, your plan looks pretty good as long as you don't have lots of late nights and early mornings planned. Will you be taking advantage of the EMH on the 8th? I would if you are planning to be at the MK anyway and maybe leaving in the early afternoon for some pool time!

Yes, we're doing EMH on the 8th. :goodvibes We will be doing 3 to 4-ish hour breaks mid-day everyday. That night we'll also be staying for the electrical parade and Wishes at 10:00.

II usually book my parks around my ADR`s...depending if I can get the restaurant I want. Pretty flexible :cool1:

I'm going to take a look at hours ad TGM. Still have yet to book flights though, because I dislike the prices and times out thus far.
