September 2011 - The Planning Has Started!!!

So, sometimes I think I'm crazy... lol... I'm a Disney newbie as most of you know and I still cannot believe:

I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!!

I have our Disney dream board sitting on a table in our living room and I get emotional when I see it, or when my son asks to watch the planning DVD, or my other son walking up to our refrigerator and pointing to the map we have of WDW and saying in his sweet 18 month old little voice, "Di-ney Wooold!" AHH!!!! These next 216 days need to FLY by!

Oh geeze that would stink. I mean for me it is fine because I am going off site but you are staying at wdw the whole time. What if you called to make your adr?

I bet it might work if I called. I know it doesn't work online because it can't link the 2 resort ressies, so it sees it as I am leaving the last day of my first ressie.

Been a little busy at work (applied for a new job, got an interview but no offer) and at home (painted our downstairs and PACKERS WIN SUPERBOWL!) but wanted to check in and see my ticker! Also my plan to surprise my boyfriend with MNSSHP tickets for his birthday has been unraveled! My boyfriend and I were talking about what we were going to do for Valentine's Day,,,and gift options...and out of no where my boyfriend says "our gifts need to be even, because I know you have a history of springing surprises on me!" and then he says, "What if we got Halloween Party tickets for each other for Valentine's,,,and no other gifts!" I said "DEALL!!!"

woohoo! Can't wait for dates to be released!!

How is everyone else dealing with the waiting and how is your planning coming along?

The waiting is rough. Now I am just waiting to get my tax return to buy Uni tickets. I am also going to have to buy my 3yo dd a ticket (the rest of us have NE tickets from last time) I am thinking undercover tourist. Anyone else know a good place to buy tickets?

I go to the doctor at 9 and if I'm not holding down fluids by then he's sending me to labor and delivery for an IV and some medication for nausea. (maybe I can convince them to get the baby out while I'm there )

Sounds like you have been busy! I was happy the Packers won the Superbowl, Greg Jennings is an alum of the college dh and I graduated from(although he's younger than us)and we loved to watch him play when he was there.

I have found undercover tourist to be the best deal on tickets. I am waiting to buy my Universal tickets. I'm hoping against hope for some kind of special. I earned enough points on expotv to get my youngest sons ticket for free that really helped the Universal budget!

I have a friend who is 38 weeks and just got over the bug. She said it hurts to heave with the big belly. Hope you get better soon!!!

We talked costumes briefly this morning. He said he doesn't want to do anything elaborate, maybe a facepainting... I suggested doing something similar to what we did for the Pirate and Princess Party-he wore a pirate shirt and a pirate hat, and I wore a first mate tank top, and scarf in my hair. Simple but fun! So we'll see. I'd love to hear any ideas or what others are planning on doing!

That is awesome! Greg Jennings is the man! I'm so happy for the Packers! My boyfriend and I loved the "I'm going to Disney World" commercial with A. Rodge! I've also watched some of the parade footage from when Aaron Rodgers was there yesterday. Disney and the Packers are two of my favorite things in the world,,,doesn't get much better than that!!

Well, after a long fought battle I finally convinced my parents to join us and we booked yesterday (modified today) and got a 2 br Theme Park view vila at BLT. I'm beyond excited. Our trip will be 9/28 - 10/3. Can't wait!!!
