Why oh why oh why does it feel like it's light years away?????

Okay so I hope all is well with each of you. Hoping for Sept hrs to be out sooooooooon so we can get to planning. Still mulling over the restaurants and plans. SO much to think about.

I haven't ever done Universe of Energy but it is definitely on the list to do --- sometime when we're good and overheated.
Which will most likely be around 10 am.

I too can't wait till September hours are out as well as my 180 mark. I am crazy until I know I get the ADR's I want. I am sure I will be trying some new things I haven't before: Astro Orbiter, Innoventions, Backlot Tour (not going to do AK this trip unless the weather is cooler then usual in September). As well as doing some others that we don't tend to do every trip but will be good to do to get out of the heat (Tiki Room, Country Bears). I am also so excited to try some different restaurants: Kona, Ohana, 1900 Park Fare (take advantage of being able to resort hop on the monorail), Via Napoli, Tepan Edo. I am also hoping to catch MNSSHP and getting to see some of the "special event" characters. So considering I have been to Disney a total of 13 times between childhood and adulthood, I am happy that I still have so many new things to try!!! :cheer2:

Thanks for the link MamaJessie...I would be (maybe a minority) very disappointed if the Tiki's didn't get fixed in some way. I took my daughter in 2009 however the show stopped 1/2 way thru and we didn't get back to it on that trip. We didn't go at all on our last visit in December and I was so looking forward to seeing it this year. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. However with all the Fantasy Land expansion going on, I wouldn't be surprised if it was ignored for a while!

You peeps sure were chatty today :)

Jo- Congrates on the 7 months

Momof2disneyboys- the only things on your list that I have done are the liberty sq riverboat and ellen universe of energy.
I would say yes by all means do both of them, I use to ride the riverboat every trip then in '98 it was being refurbed and of course missing MK last trip I did not get to do it. I love it but then I like throw backs to olden days :rotfl:

Ellen universe of energy the movie in the waiting room is interesting the first time you see it after that it is a big bore, not sure maybe they have changed it since I was last there in '98 missed it last trip too :sad1:
The ride itself was good great sights and sound and I like dinosaurs :)

The piles of snow here are like 10 feet or more high, they were using backhoes to get it off the streets at least now it is 2 lanes again. I do not ever remember so much snow, even the blizzard of '78 it was a one shot deal.

I am sooooooooooooooooooooo ready to move to Florida, now to convince my stubborn DH :rotfl:

oh and I forgot to mention with the ice storm last night into today now everything is one big skateing rink, my poor dog bella fell twice today when I let her out :sad2:

It looks like everyones planning is coming along I did add my AK day today which might change, only reason I am going there this trip is to take DH over to Boma's to eat then head to AK after breakfast......all subject to change when September Hours come out of course

here is what I have so far

Sun 9/25 arrive-check into BC, DHS lunch Mama Melrose Fantasmic Pkg, go back to room when it is ready, until time to head back to DHS for Fantasmic

Mon 9/26

Tues 9/27 evening MK MNSSHP

Wed 9/28

Thurs 9/29 Breakfast Boma AKL. AK Lunch Tuskers(tix Nemo show) evening Epcot F&W Preview

Fri 9/30 Epcot-day

Sat 10/1 MK -AM 40th Anniversary, PM Epcot, MK Evening EMH( I think since it is a sat night)

Sun 10/2 Epcot early breakfast at Ahuskus, head back to resort mid-afternoon for ME Pickup :sad1:

I have a lot of holes on my park days and lots of ADR's to put in place

So I'm officially joining the September 2011 club! DH okayed the trip and we're going to book it on Friday. I've been trying to get a 40% deluxe pin code for weeks, but that doesn't look like its going to happen so we're settling for the general public deal.

We'll be staying September 24-October 1 at AKL! DH's 31st birthday is September 25th so it'll be fun to be at Disney for it!

Now I need to decide whether we are going to stay Savannah view with the basic dining plan or standard view with the deluxe dining plan.

I'm excited to plan with you guys! :woohoo:
