Boy, I don't read the board for a day and miss everything.

Pooh, Glad you got to talk to Mike about the way you feel and got to the bottom of it. You should have talked to him about the trip a long time ago so you didn't have to carry those feelings around with you.

Thanks. It just seemed like everytime I had tried to talk with him something came up and we couldn't or if I started to talk about it he would breath REALLY HARD and I would just shout up and moved on so it was about to blow up inside of me had I not said something now.

So how'd it go last night?????:scared:

we didn't talk last night we got home late from work then I went out to suck my leafs and he was washing clothes and by the time I got in (which I am not done yet) it was like 9ish. I have to finish the yard tonight and I will try and call you later.

We'll be out trick & treating with Kellie until after 7:00. So if you call before 7 we won't be home! :thumbsup2

That works for me!

Have a great night!

I'm off to get Kellie ready!

Pooh, I am a believer in talking things out. Not that it works in my particular case, but I understand that it does with normal folks, even if they might be afflicted with 'maleness'. :rotfl: Did you point out how he might feel if you were doing the same thing? I have been around a time or three and have seen much and know that many innocent things lead to trouble and are best avoided. When I worked outside the home I had a rule that if I found myself becoming attracted to anyone I would distance myself. It is always easier to think someone perfect that you do not have to live with and pick up after and that is rarely so. Better to keep the problem you have than to learn to deal with a new one. :rotfl2: I am glad you guys could talk. BTW, a man who can do laundry is worth arguing with IMO.

keliblue, did you have your trick or treat last night? We did. I have treats for about 350 and still had to snag my grandkids candy stash I keep for them here. The cookies were a hit. I used candy corn to make the eyes and black licorice for the whiskers.

wic0721, did you get Kelli ready on time??

I am thinking of doing something totally out of character for me. I do not NEED a new refrigerator as mine works fine, has cracked shelves and no see through drawers and stuff on the bottom shelf grows mold as it gets lost. I also have a husband who literally will not reach beyond the first couple of inches for a drink so beverages go bad often. The fridge I want is on sale for nearly $150 less than regular and I am thinking about ordering it today. It is not like we have to charge it or anything but I did not get to where I am by buying stuff unnecessarily. The new one has a freezer on the bottom. Anyone else have one? Do you like it???

Good Morning S/G!

Yup, I got Kellie ready in time for Trick or treating....she's got enough candy now to be on a sugar high for at least a month or so! She's already separated the peanut/nut ones from the ones she can have. The "bad" ones have been put in a baggie for her dad to bring to work with him today!

May parents used to have a fridge with a freezer on the bottom, they liked it. I can tell you from experience, do not buy a side by side fridge.....no room to put anything in it!

SG you are so wise and wonderful person as we bf and I have spoken I have found out those pictures that they shared are from our trips to Italy and Disney both times and our dogs so that was innocent enough but it still to me isn't a good thing either way and I told him how I felt and he agrees with me that he won't be talking with them anymore.
Here is the boot of the darn thing Mike said that he had already been looking at rings and pricing them out for me and trying to come up with a way to ask me to marry him now he has gave me a maxium date as to when this will happen no later then Feb 14th. WHOPPIEEE!!! we will see though all things can change.

On a side note we might have some bad very bad news for everyone except a few people I am sure, Mike and I might go on one of those Disney Adventures in Sept. instead of going to Disney:scared1: we are looking at Ireland (maybe for a Honeymoon it all depends though)so we are now booked for 2 vacations at the moment I will keep you all updated as to which one we choose.

wic0721, it sounds as if you have trained Kellie very well. The important thing with Halloween candy is to sort the good stuff out from the bad so you do not waste time nor calories on dreck. She would not have liked my cookies as I made peanut butter since I hate the things and would not be tempted.

I have friends with side by sides so I know they are useless for anyone except for my one sister who only keeps her stockings and bottled water in a fridge as she eats out every single meal. Yes, she is single herself. Thanks for the response. I am afraid of stuff breaking down and wasting money. A dollar wasted is one that cannot be used at DW. :thumbsup2

I hope you have a wonderful day and watch out for that Halloween candy. I snagged a mini Butterfinger from one of my grandkids. I am a bad grandma.

Pooh, I have had many life experiences and have learned a bit of something along the way although I am far from knowing it all. :rotfl: Remember I told you that he was probably waiting to ask you at Christmas or Valentine's Day? It is not that men are all that romantic but they are smart and pick dates that are most likely to remember for 'anniversaries' so they can avoid future problems. They also like to be the one to ask and it is our job, as women, to allow them to deceive themselves into thinking 'it was all their idea'.

Why would anyone mind if you took your honeymoon (?) in Ireland. All anyone here wants is for you to be happy besides we know you cannot avoid us forever. :cool1:

BTW, curious, did the pics he shared have you in the pics as well? That would make a big difference. You might slip in a few of you back 'in the day' when you were in the ring just to scare off any potential threats. I always kept my sharp shooting trophies around, in clear view, when my dd's bf's came by to pick her up. It weeded out the weak.

Hey now, you can't bail on September on me! :sad1:

But I guess I can handle it, if you're going to be on your honeymoon! I'm glad you and Mike were able to hash things out last night! If you have to chose between Disney or Ireland....take Ireland! You can always do Disney! One of my former co-workers went to Ireland a couple years ago, she said it was absolutely beautiful! My Grandmother came here from Ireland when she was about Kellie's age!

Hi S/G,

Kellie and I are both allergic to peanuts/nuts...that's why she needed to separate her candy. I hope you told everyone that you passed those cookies out to last night that they were PB, I can't believe how many people are allergic to it now! Growing up, I was considered a freak, because I was allergic to PB. Now, schools are banning pb&j sandwiches and have peanut free tables set up in their cafeteria's!

Except that it is about 16 years old. All my fridged things are at eye level, we get into the freezer so much less it makes sense for it to be lower. My drawers pull out on the bottom. I want a nice stainless steel one with double doors on top and a freezer on bottom, but with a ice/water machine either on the outside or in the door, not picky am I? But we are planning a kitchen remodel next year so it doesn't make any sense for me to buy a new fridge now when mine still works and we'll remodel and make sure everything fits...

Another question... about everyone's MNSSHP tickets, we went the first night, the 14th and were rained out. Did you all get refunds or did they say they were good for 365 days for an entrance into the MK? That is what Alana at Disney told us. We will not be going back, but I may have friends that do. Is it ok to give them to them? Or if they don't go to give them to someone on the Dis who is going this year? We aren't going back until after the 365 days is up :(

Thanks

I too want a bottom freezer but despite my fridge being like SG's all torn up and about 20 years old my DH wants to wait till it dies.

As for the MNSSHP on 9/14, I was there too and the people outside were saying the ticket would be good for 1 day at MK only for the next year. Problem was we were upgrading to AP so I went inside and talked to Guest Services and they were so nice and credited back my credit card the full amount. If I had even been able to ride one ride and see the parade by 9:30 I would have been happy but we were over by SM and that and BTMR were down due to rain, we went over to POC and that was down due to mechanical problems so basically we stood there hoping it would rain a little less hard then when it was drizzling we waited on main street for the parade and fireworks but they kept saying they were delayed and may not happen. We then gave up and left.

As for the tickets being good for someone else. I would think as long as you didn't go through the finger scan it would be ok but if you did scan your finger then no it will be coded to that finger. We didn't scan because we were already in the park so we went to the rose garden and they marked them with marker there. I suppose you could warn the person you give them to and make sure they know it is for MK only and if they are not worried then go for it.

trying to catch up here & wouldn't you know it, somebody has to fall out of bed and interrupt my box'o wine, chip& dale trail mix & DIS'ing.
Hope all is well with everyone.
I hate working, can't talk anymore:sad2: :rolleyes1
