Hello everyone hope your weekends went well.

Just had to share as I am reading the thread. Right now my DS is on my case about how we need to keep the $1 off pizza coupon that was on the empty pizza box despite the fact that we have a stack of coupons already. If I tell him to toss it he will literally tape it to the side of my car so I see it in the morning and have to toss it myself. I guess it's the packratphobia in me. lol

So SG are you telling me that my house might look halfway decent when my son moves out? He keeps telling me that he is going to have his wife move into his bedroom with him so I fear I'm doomed to packratdome. Then again maybe she will have enough sense to make him move out with her, but then there is the issue with DH being just as bad. Hmmm, maybe I can get on DS's future wifes good side and convince her that she needs to take DH along with them since it seems like he is the only one who can light a fire under DS a@# to get him to do anything. Wic, this might be a future solution for you too. Either that or we will just have to get together and eat some of those Cherry bombs so we just don't care anymore. lol Could you imagine having to explain to the police why your daughter got drunk from eating the cherries in the fridge. UGH!!!

Santa passed by today and helped me get a new bed... my 1st bed ever... still busy throwing out stuff in my little unit before the time for me to be sedentary comes!!!

It was this past saturday and it went great I made those jello shots and didn't you think about it I left the darn things in the frig totally forgot about them with all the cooking and cleaning I had to do that day and go to work on top of that you would think that Mike would have helped more being that this was he party too just don't know about him somedays. We were all going to go to Kent and look at everyone elses costumes but never made it out the door until like 12:30 or 1:00 am then we went to a bar and well lets just say We all had a good time.

Oh I forgot GO SOX SWEEP THE ROCKIES

I want a bed for Christmas too. I have been wanting a latex bed forever. How did you sleep?
Just think if you sleep better you will need less sleep which equals more time to get on the dis, right? Or is it better bed = wanting more time to enjoy sleep. Oh well I tried but at least I know you should be back in full force in about a month.

Okay, I have the peanut butter cookie dough all made up for baking Wednesday so that my T&Ters can have fresh, warm cookies from The Reading Lady. Hope I made the correctly as my brain does not actually kick in until early afternoon. I am a night owl.

angwill, you should never take family advice from me. Whatever I did ,I done done wrong I fear. If you do not want any potential dil's moving in with you it might be good to start taking 'evil mil' lessons so that will the last thing on their minds. Of course there are potential grandchildren to think of so you cannot be too evil. My mil loved me to pieces cause I got dh out of HER house, sober and to work every day. He was 38 at the time and I believe she had resigned herself to the status quo so I came as quite a surprise, even to myself. Boys usually respond better to 'advice' from fathers so at least you have that.

Timmie, how wonderful of Santa to know that is exactly what you need for a fast recuperation although I fear you will probably be more comfortable sleeping in a recliner (do you have one?) for a bit. I am in the process of helping get my youngest sister a bed since she is soon due to have weight loss surgery and only has a mattress on the floor at present. Never underestimate the power of a comfortable bed. At least a third of our lives are spent in one and it should be the best piece of furniture we own. BTW, hard to imagine YOU being sedentary. I am sure it will not be for long and besides the sooner and more you move the better you will feel and faster. I am an expert on surgeries.

Poohbear67, I always make a menu list that I post on my fridge when planning a party so that I do not forget to do anything or leave something in the fridge. Also folks who are coming can see what I am serving and start to complain a bit earlier (family). Do you think that my dh's influence rubbed off on your dbf??? I hope not. It is not a good thing. Trust me, things never get better, only worse. Sort of like a pebble in your shoe. It starts out as a minor annoyance and turns into a giant pain!!

I have to fix my Kodak software and download the pics of the CC kids to make their bookmarks for the season. They look forward to them so and it makes my life easier as they have their name, grade, reading level and such on them. The kids who come in regularly I get to know but some of the others only come by once in awhile and fully expect me to remember such information. I barely remember my own name some days.

Back to work and hoping that a few ounces disappear today as I am might near the same weight as last week and want more of a loss. I am greedy.

I have a delima, Mike has been on it and I joined and well its all complicated and such but I just saw some of his writings to other women but made no mention of me now this could be a good thing or a bad thing but I just don't like it at all. there was nothing obscene written but it made me feel like crap. any help would be appriecated.

Timmy how are you feeling today?? I can't wait until you are all better so maybe we can plan a trip to Disney together

Pooh, I am sorry I do not know nothing about Facebook. I know what it is but have never been on it. My dh cannot dial a phone let alone use a computer. I know that I post on a diary site and a man just joined my page and I feel constricted and do not talk about my dh much anymore cause I do not feel comfortable talking about such with a male. I generally avoid talking to men but this one is overtly happily married and a grandparent. Have you asked your dbf about it or would he be mad cause you looked at his page? I like straight forward conversations, not that has ever worked for me with anyone close though.

BTW, no one can make you feel like excrement except yourself. You have no control over what others do only how you react. I am a late learner.

the way this thing is setup if you have friends together then you can see each others friends and you can click on there wall paper to see when they last chatted or it will tell you the date and time that there conversation was like this one did. No i haven't had time to talk to him about it we are at work at the moment and that is when I found it so I will be having a long talk with him tonight if my head quits hurting.

No I haven't talked to him yet! He is not only talking to one gal but apparently she isn't the only one that he has been talking with now to his defense there has been no "bad things" said per say but its the fact that he is doing it and not telling me and he is writing to these people while we are home at night together and after I go to bed.

I just told him that we need to talk tonight and now he is like why whats wrong I told him we have 3 hours left at work and I really don't want to talk about it.

thats me... since 1991 I have been sleeping on the floor with mattress due to bad back... but since it will be hard in getting up from the floor... I got the bed.. nope.. no recliner ...

ANTSS2001, we have a very expensive handmade Amish Cherry bed in our MBR with an extremely expensive pillow top mattress and I prefer to sleep in one of the upstairs rooms, that used to be our MBR, on a flat, cheap mattress set on top of a platform built into the floor. It is more comfortable to me. I hope your new bed suits your fancy. You can put a heavy chair next to the bed to help you in and out after your surgery. Since you will probably be having laproscopic surgery you should not have a lot of problems though.

Poohbear67, I am curious to how your evening went. My rule, from day one, on the computer is to never do anything I would not want my husband to do (IF he knew how to turn the thing on). Things often start out innocent and escalate and it is best to avoid the problem to begin with.

It gives me a bit of a break and since he is not likely to be able to have any closer contact with them as I dial the phone for him, do all the driving and would have to make the reservations at the local 'notell' motel it just ain't gonna happen. Well I want to thank all of you gals for your wonderful ears to listen to me complain and whine LOL!!

Things went okay but with problems. We will talk again tonight but he did tell me that he was sorry and that he wasn't trying to hide anything from me because I can see everything that he writes or who writes to him.

I also told him about my plan while at disney regarding asking him to marry me. I also told him about how he made me feel while we were at MGM the day before (thursday the 13th) and he didn't realize that I was so upset of how he acted well thats men for ya.

Anyways on to better things you are all the best and I wouldn't know what to do with out you all. If at anytime any of you need an ear or shoulder or anything to lean on or cry on please don't hesitate to get with me.

Pooh, Glad you got to talk to Mike about the way you feel and got to the bottom of it. You should have talked to him about the trip a long time ago so you didn't have to carry those feelings around with you.
