Trust me, money isn't the issue, but I really do appreciate the offer ....I would love to go down as a family, so my husband could see his daughters face at MNSSHP, which was basically the real reason we were going! I'm not sure if he'd be comfortable with just the 2 of us going without him though! I've got until next Wednesday to pay off the trip, so I've got alot of work ahead of me, if my husband tells me tonight that he really can't go!

I will be there from Sept 9th-Oct 3rd. Is there anything I can do to help?

I will trade one 73 year old who has been known to suddenly shift the car into neutral (I am the driver and much younger) for the 8 year old. I could use the more adult conversation too.

Oh no...Pooh you didn't offend me at all. My husband has annual training for his job, usually it's in October...for some reason they just decided bump it up a month this year.

Trust me, I work in sales.....it's takes ALOT to offend me! Kinda like my husbands job right now....they've offended me!

I read alot today. I really feel pressure to finish this one quickly, because I think people will tell how it ends. Especially non fans who will pick this one as their first one to read! I hope no one spoils it for me!

I got annoyed with people randomly posting spoilers on threads on Saturday. (not here) So I sat up Saturday night and read the book. Sadly I had seen alot of the spoilers first.

I place the bottles in my large rubbermade's wrapped in my shirts and stuff and so far I had not had any breakage And when I am at a resort with no fridge... the rubbermades serves as my ice chest! Perefect for keeping the wine cool, some yogurt, milk etc.

Sounds like a great idea, 'cept I'm flying. I need to fit everything neatly into under 50 pound suitcases. I am taking part in a fridge swap, so my rum will be cold.

Husband:Hi Babe, you're going to kill me. (not a good way to start a conversation!)

Husband: Just found out we are having our annual training in September, guess what week I have to go?
Me: Are you freakin kidding me?

I'm sorry to hear this. My DH almost didn't get off from work either. I told him I would take our son and go if he couldn't. But we're flying this year, that would be alot easier than a 20 some hour drive alone. Hope you can make things work out for you.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel weird with no more planning to do. I'm happy with all my park days and ADR's. So I have nothing to do for my vacation.

oh and I added a breakfast on September 12th at 8:00 am at Donald's Breakfastosaurus. How can I add that to the ADR list?

Nienor, actually I could bring the microwave too. I have been known too. Caused a big fuss, only on the DIS boards though. My Mousekeeper liked that a whole lot better than the skillets, crockpots and BBQ grills that she had seen before.

when I go on solo trips I dont have to plan anything... but OMG if I have my tribe trust me I planned it to a T!!! Because if I dont do that they will give me a vacation full of headache.."where are going... what are we eating... but I want this... but I want that..." thats why trip like this short it maybe is one of the blessings I have!!! wisiful thinking: I dont have to take them with me at all... buty as the trips gets closer I feel bad coz I know they want to go too... if only I can learn to say No, You can't go!!!

ANTSS2001, I never say no to my family and it shows. My birthday is Wednesday and I usually take the day off and do something with myself. I do not wanna be one of those people who sits around the house all day long just in case one of my children 'might' call or something and I am good company.

I have loads of friends who would go with me as well as the fact that I could probably pick up a few strangers off the street and they would wish me a happy BD2 but I am embarrassed to tell them that my kids have not remembered my birthday in years.

It helps that I have absolutely no feelings.

Gotta go as I have a grandson who lives with me (almost) in the summer. Who could say 'no' to that face???? Not this grandma. He might remember my birthday too!! Nah, probably not.

Could be worse, his parents could live with me.

If they do not remember does that mean I am not aging??? That would be gift enough. In case anyone wants to know I will be 'plenty nine' - again!!
