Just a quick note before work...
Did anyone else get an invitation to a DVC holiday party in their city?

DVC is coming to Chicago in November for a holiday party!

Anyone want to be our guests?

DVC Party??? Sounds awesome! I wish they would do something like this in Ohio!

Dan

No invite here in Wyoming. All three - five Wyoming DVC members here probably live at least 400 miles apart. Just a short Wyoming drive.

Anyone Linked Dining For Early or Late ??? :grouphug: :grouphug:

Hey, I still have my PJ's! :cool1: Are we going to plan another breakfast? At least this time we won't have pulled an all nighter and would be so darn tired to really enjoy the experience :rotfl:

Since Kim and Bette are not coming on this cruise, I switched my dining to late. I would love to link up with some/any of you. Just let me know.

....We've also been silent lately because we lost one of our precious puppies. Murphy was only 13, but compression fractures in her spine caused her to be paralyzed in the back legs. I know this comes with being a 'parent' but it's been a hard few weeks.
Randall
:earsboy:

Randall and Kevin, sorry to hear about Murphy. Our dog, Tippy, just turned 100 in doggie years and suffers from all sorts of dog maladies. So we kind of know what you are going through.
It does not surprise me that this group offerred so much support to you. They were there when our cat passed on this past summer. We still appreciate the kind words and support from everyone. :grouphug:

Okay...Mom and I experienced our first tornado yesterday :scared1: . Apparently we had a category 1 tornado hit our city. I was at home when the tornado hit but luckily we suffered no damage (thank goodness) but a local elementary school's roof blew off and there is so much damage to buildings with many trees down and many damaged roofs. I know how scared we were with this storm that I can't even begin to imagine what Leslie & Joe and Kay & Harry went through in Ft. Lauderdale with Hurricane Wilma.
Wow. Good to hear you are o.k. Do you get many tornados up in the Great White North? (Why do I think....McKenzie Brothers?)
Now that you've made it through a tornado, hurricane season cruising should not be a problem. Right?

Did not hear about this. We would be interrested depending on when it was.

Glad to hear that everyone is OK, tell your Mom that she can handle a little rough water after being that close to a tornado.

They have two dates: November 19 & 20th, I believe 10am and 2pm both days. I think we are planning on going on the 20th- probably 2pm. I don't know what is really involved, I just got home from work and have to look. I'll post more tomorrow after I sleep!

Sounds interesting!

Good Morning all. Hope that everyone has a great weekend.

Good Morning Mike, me thinks at least you and I will be seeing each other at the coffee station every morning. I am sure there will be others.

Little cool here, but what else is new. Dogs felt a little wet when they came in for their breakfast. I got our stuff all packed and in a couple of hours we will be heading out to take some of our SCUBA students to do their open water dives. Water will be 96, nice and comfy.

My Birthday present from Lynn arrived yesterday and I am starting to play with it. It is the Disney Mixstick. Have not put any music on it yet as am waiting to get the battery charged. Will see how that goes when we get back. One thing I don’t like is that the battery charges via a USB port. I would rather have a replaceable battery. We will see about this feature. Got a 1 gig SD card for it, good deal at Staples. I do like that I could use this for storage of other data, i.e. files and photos.

Here is a question I have. When I RIP a song to download, should I use WMA or MP3?

OK, kids ya need to send Tracy a little blurb about yourself for the get to know your fellow cruiser section of the newsletter. I venture to say we have a very diverse group of folks here that share a common interest in the Mouse. Who knows I might learn who to hit up for a retirement job. LOL. Maybe I could hole the smart end of a tape measure, or a pound in survey stakes for Peter. Better yet run interference for him with the unemployment lady on the cruise. That was funny. LOL

Hi everyone! We're having a bit of a warm up today (it's already 44 this morning), but by Tuesday they are expecting SNOW :cold: Better get the lawn cleaned up today! Celeste, next weekend is good. 2pm Sunday may not be the best (2 1/2 hour drive from Ohare). May work better for Bob.

Peter, I got a great idea with the plans we were working on. Call me.

Tracy

Hope all goes well today with the wedding, Regina! :cheer2:  Sorry I couldn't come and help you clean :earboy2:

From the Weather Channel: Sunny High 58° F
Precip: 0%
Abundant sunshine. High 58F. Winds light and variable.

I hope you have a beautiful day! :goodvibes :bride:

Yeah! What he said! I found out a lot of interesting things about Scott and Lynn that I know you all will enjoy to hear. Let me know about your accomplishments, your employment, your vacations, your hobbies. Whatever you think othes may not know but would find interesting.

Oh, and don't forget about article possibilities either. Peter, if you want to see about Barbados, get Jenn to write something for me :earboy2: :rotfl2:
