Hi Guys, had a great Christmas. Up early to get to Walmart at 0600 for lights for the new place. Watch out Jennings Osbourn…….

Kinda off from work this weeks as it is a use the time or loose it. Will go in for a little bit, but plan on spending time getting the house together a little bit more.

Just a little more than 30 days till we leave for DLP and Tanzania. Lot to do to get that together.

We watched the WDW parade. Noticed they had Samantha Brown announcing VAKL, and making her an honorary member.

“Forever Young” for sure……Lynn got me some kewl POC stuff.

Went to Walmart and scored a whole bunch of decorations for the house for Christmas next year, icicle lights and stuff for the front yard.

I wanted to wish everyone a late Merry Christmas! I have really enjoyed getting all of the Christmas cards- I am going to be sending New Years cards this year due to the craziness that is my life.

Oh my! I hope Kay gets well soon. I ran into her neice everywhere on the ship. It was always nice to talk with them.

I tried to call Kay over the holiday weekend and left her a voice mail. I was surprised she hadn't called me back.

I emailed Dr. Bill to see if he knows anything. I might have her niece's phone number- but I don't really know her.

I was able to get ahold of Kay. I also now have her sister's phone number in Ft. Lauderdale in case of emergency. Here is the latest:

I called Kay today to find out how she and Harry are doing. As many of you know, Kay had surgery earlier this month. She was home from the hospital, however, she was unable to even hardly get to her front door and couldn't walk. She was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale and the doctor had to open her back up from her surgery because she now has an infection from the surgery. She is in isolation and has an open wound on her stomach which she thinks is going to be open for 3-4 weeks. She was very positive on the phone and said she is going to beat this thing!

As many of you know, her husband, Harry, has been battling cancer, and he had developed some blood clots in his lung so he was in the hospital and the doctors were thinning out his blood. She expected that he was going to go back home (maybe today from the way it sounded.)

That's the latest. Please send pixie dust their way! I know our family will keep them in our prayers.
