Peter, I finally got around to taking some photos to post of the new place and your posts had me inspired. So here they are:

We only have the little tree up as we are living amongst boxes

We are blessed and have much to be thankful for.

I got a weather station and currently the wind is out of the east at 11.8 mph, Barometer is rising, and it is snowing, temp 17 F.

New construction all around us unoccupied or being built. total of about 20 lots in the subdivision, all lots about 2.5 acres. only about 5 houses occupied, all way on the other end of the subdivision, meeting folks as we walk the dogs. There is about a 150 acre common area in the center of hte subdivision. which is nice. We also have 3 acre common area to the west of our lot so it is like we have 5 acres.

Better get back to moving boxes and unpacking. This I doubt will never end. LOL

Very nice home pics! Scott, I especially like the bear paw prints in the rock. Peter, you have lovely floors! I like them. I'll have to post pics of our humble abode all gussied up for Christmas. We will be home on Wednesday. Kevin's birthday party (1st ever in 42 years!) is Saturday. KBorn and family are coming down from Birmingham for the party. I'll post pics of the party as well.

i've seen it mentioned but never knew what this was...what exactly is club 33?

Club 33 is a private "members only" club located on the second floor over some of the New Orleans Square shops. It was originally planned as a place for Walt to entertain VIP guests. The number of members is limited and the waiting list is said to take about 8 years. It is very expensive to join (membership fee and yearly dues). They serve brunch and dinner when the park is open.

Members can make reservations for others.

The surrounding area reminds me of when we first moved into our house 15 years ago. Unfortunately, it did not take long for us to have neighbors. Thought we would be by ourselves for a while.

I kept looking at the entrance picture (KEWL), thinking I had seen that before. Realized that it is similar to the entrances to the rooms at Disney Hilton Head.

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Weather here was nice. Above average for this time of year. No White Christmas in sight.

Finished up the last of the Christmas shopping on my way home today. Whew!
Done with a week to spare. Celebrate with the grandkids thursday.
Not too may decorations up this year. Still kinda somber here.

Nice thing is...only 7 working days left this year.
And less than 5 months until the next cruise.
