NEWS ALERT.....NEWS ALERT

Diet Pepsi Jazz
Strawberries & Cream
is now available
in
Canada!!!!!

I nearly fell over when Mom and I noticed the display in WalMart!!!!!!

I just took my younger daughter to the dentist this morning and we chatted about the beverages that were tolerable and ... BAD for young teeth. Specific choices that were intensely bad were Pepsi with the highest acidity ... and on the chart ... it's being compared to battery acid. So - I mused, maybe someone could market battery acid as a beverage. Think... "Cherry Acid Fizz"?

Product Acid table
The first number is the factor per 12 oz with Low=BAD acidity, the 2nd number is the relative level of Sugar present. Hence the indications for water are Zero and Zero. And at the bottom is Pepsi above battery acid!

Pure Water .....7.00 (neutral)..... 0.0
Barq's ............4.61 .................10.7 tsp.
Diet 7-Up .......3.67 ...................0.0
Sprite ............3.42 ...................9.0
Diet Dr. Pepper 3.41 ..................0.0
Diet Coke .......3.39 ...................0.0
Mountain Dew 3.22 ..................11.0 tsp.

Hawaiian Fruit Punch 2.82 .......10.2
Orange Minute Maid 2.80 .........11.2
Coke Classic ...2.63 ...................9.3 tsp.

Hi Lindsey - just sent your mom a pm in regards to young adults - sorry - I reacted before reading on. Anyway, pm me if you have any questions. Thanks - and don't worry - you'll have fun - although sure am glad to hear that there's a young lady going! :thumbsup2

Hi. Yes I know my mom showed me it. Aww thank you. I'm glad that I'm going as well. I'm glad to know that there will be at least one person my age on the cruise. If i know my mom I'm sure she gave you my email to give to your son. It would be nice to get to know at least one person before the cruise even if it is like 2 weeks away :rotfl: . I'm really looking forward to this cruise more then any of the other ones that ive been on.

My daughter (turning 20 in two weeks, and 1/2 way through her junior year of college) decided not to join us. Classes start for her just a couple weeks before we depart, and her French class (she is a double major, French and History) grades on attendance as well as assignments and tests. If we were going to spend an extended time at a destination with French as the official language, she could pull it off - but not on this cruise.

I hope there are others your age for you to hang out with. It is a tough time of year for your peers to miss classes. My 14 and 17-yr olds decided that they shouldn't miss either. Just my 11-yr-old is coming. But I do know of another 17-yr-old that will be on the ship. I just don't know of any young adults.

I'm sure you'll find fun no matter what!

Yes I know classes start early. Alot of my friends are already back in school. Wow a double major. I give her credit i could never pull that one off. I wish your daughter lots of luck . Yes I'm also hoping that there will be other young adults. Thanks, Im sure I will have a great time like you said no matter what. It is Disney and a cruise. whats not fun about that right?
