Now the real secret is out, Bummer. It was going to be a surprize.

That was my day today. First was the call from Visa's fraud prevention desk verifying a few recent charges. OK, that was a real eye opener. Next it a call to UA Visa to find out why my account has been frozen........uggh. Getting connected directly to the credit card security desk and being grilled for 10+ minutes to verify my identity didn't help my frame of mind either Being told by Chase that they were closing this account and sending me a new credit card was the last straw.

For the second time in 2 weeks I've been the victim of credit card fraud. I had the pleasure of spending 3 hours on the phone with every credit card company I"ve ever dealt with making sure this was isolated to only 1 card. (BTW, I really HATE phone trees right now............)

From now on we will be using virtual 1 time use credit cards to pay for anything online, especially booking excursions overseas. All this crap started when we sent our CC info to Eli's Eco Tours for our excursion deposits. NEVER AGAIN.

Sorry to vent, but I've had an absolutely rotten day today. Thanks for listening.

WhoooHooo!! it is finally Friday Been a rough week. This buyout of the company that I work for is kicking my tail. Can't wait for this cruise so that we can get away for a while and have some fun.
Carol and Doug, the fish extender arrived today, you did a great job, Thank you!! Thanks for the reply pahrumpgirl about snorkeling and not being able to swim. Think I might give it a whirl. I have taken swimming lessons and still can't swim, Guess I am just destined to go through life on dry land. Mommaluvsdisney and pahrumpgirl, maybe we will see each other on the railroad ride.
Scott, thanks for the link to the grass skirt shirt site, I about spit coffee all over my computer when I saw the thong. I can just picture my DH in a grass skirt and that.
Peter, thanks for the update on Mike's surgery, glad that it went well and that you are feeling better.
I an making my final payment on this cruise tomorrow. Now to decide which excursions to take. I keep reading that we will be able to start making reservations at 3:00 a.m. on Monday. Does anyone know if that is Indiana time???

Hi everyone

I mentioned in a previous post that Harry and I and our friends Dick and Vanessa were planning to do a private tour of Antigua. Well, today I heard back from our first choice for the tour, Lawrence of Antigua (http://lawrenceofantigua.com/), and he is available to do the tour for us when we are in port. Here are the details he provided:

"Tour last just over three hour, we will be visiting historical sites like English Harbour, Nelson's Dockyard, Shirley Heights, infact the entire national park. There is a $5.00 each entrance fee to enter into the national park, that will take care of all the sites we will be visiting inside the national park. We will be driving through the Rain Forest after, then you will see the beautiful coastline on the south western side of the island, then I will take you to the beach where you can relax as long as you wish. A restaurant and other facilities is on the beach.
I will take you back to the cruise ship at the end of the day, there is when you pay cash. Tour plus beach $45. US each. Tour only $35.US each."

If anyone is interested in joining us on this tour, please let me know, by posting, emailing, or private message. I told Lawrence we should be able to get a group of 6 to 10 people together, but he tells me he can accomodate a lot more (up to 28!).

If we have a large enough group, I may be able to bargain the price down, although I think $35 is a fabulous price for the tour he is offering.

PS: Edited to add this footnote from Lawrence. He said to tell people "they will be seeing the island, they can relax on the beach also there will be time for shopping at all the historical sites and at the end of the day while going back to the cruise ship. They can do some snorkeling on the beach as well."

Hello again

I noticed that no one had volunteered to take on doing the linked dining for the early (main) dining people and I am here to volunteer!

(On the Panama Canal Westbound Repo Cruise [where we met], Harry and I had late dining, but Harry was falling asleep at thetable so on our last cruise we had main dining and it worked out much better -- he fell asleep in the shows instead! )

I've never done this (set up linked dining) for a group before but am willing to learn! (If anyone has done this before, please let me know any insider details that may help me -- please! .)

So, anyone interested in linking dining to/with other DISboard members on the cruise with main dining, please email me and I will get it set up for you. Believe me, it's a lot of fun! If you already have linked dining with someone, but are willing to add others, let me know! The more, the merrier!

Wow! A lot going on here. Just so you all know, when you post things you are going to do for the group, I've been printing the post and plan to include it in the next newsletter.
