OK.. I'm lost... WHAT are CROC flops? :confused3 I know the blinkie flip flops, but CROC's? Where do you get them? I don't want to be the only one without them! Help me... I'm out of the loop! :lmao:
Crocs are these get shoes. I am going to post a link and I just learned that the flip flops are called Athens. I wore them today at the gym into the shower and they were REALLY comfortable- more than I thought they would be. Crocs

:thumbsup2 Celeste, Thanks for the link... I saw those at Wal-mart and walked past them as I thought they looked VERY uncomfortable... but I did like all the KEWL colors... now I have to go try them out. In anycase, the price was right.

The Wal-Mart ones are faux Crocs- I can't promise they will be as comfortalbe as the real things. Let me know if they are. I love, LOVE the flip flops- worth every penny

WOAH!... :scared1: You mean there are REAL Crocs as opposed to faux Crocs... again I owe you Thanks for saving me from buying the wrong things... not going to Wal-Mart now... like I said, those looked VERY uncomfortable. I'll have to go to the CHICK's to check the real ones out. Thanks :flower3:

 Michael and I are spending the night we arrive back in port (the 28th) at Disney and I need to book a room. Over the years, we have stayed at a few of the on-site properties. We haven't decided which park we will go to, but we figured since we could do all the adult rides together for once (usually we have our 5 year old with us and have to take turns) we would go for a park that had rides we liked.

Anyway, which hotel and park would each of you recommend?

Thanks everyone!

Hey Laurie,
I always think that Magic Kindgom is the gold standard- with or without kids and there are lots of get hotels within close proximity like the Polynesian.

However, from what I do know about you & Michael- you might enjoy the food & wine festival, but I just noticed that it starts the 29th.

You might also enjoy DTD and PI- something you couldn't do with Q and there are some great non-Disney hotels there.

I'm sure lots of people will have suggestions...

I would Say a resort at the Epcot resort area. would be nice. :sunny:

Walk to Epcot ( short ) You can also walk to Mgm about 1 mile .
Both also have boat Transportation over to the parks mentioned.
Bus to MK.
Either Beachclub Villa or Boardwalk Villa.
A Studio should suit you fine.

Now, this would cost you about $250.00 per night. :rolleyes2

But if you go over to the DVC Rent / trade Board.

You can Rent points to do this, it would be about 11 to 13 points Costing you about $110.00 to $130.00 for the night.

 everyone!

I don't know if you remember me, it's been many months since I've posted. I'm still going on this cruise! :yay: Had a wild couple of months since H. Wilma visited (I willl NOT use that H word anywhere NEAR September cruises ever again!). :wizard: that this year's September cruise has NO detours - and that I don't have to replace the roof again. Renovations are almost complete just in time for another hurricane season!

You've all been very, very busy since I was last here. I need one of those adminstrative assistants just to keep up with all of your DIS posts! :teeth:

I love the multi-colored Shari lanyard. I agree it is PURRRTY! :thumbsup2 Count me in - let me know what I need to do to sign up. It'll be me, my DM (otherwise known as Nana) and my DD5 (otherwise known as THE BOSS :lmao: )!

Let me know how I can help out with the trip. I'm a bit busy at the moment with my cruise (leave tomorrow) and renovations (should be done next month). But after that I'll have some free time!

Sweet Sue

Hi Sue dont let the other thread Get out of control.. :wizard:
Lurking over there. ( Mostly ) :wizard:

Elaine and Leslie, you could also post the pics from any cell phone cameras, like Peter and Tracy did on the PC cruise.

Scott, Scott, Scott.....

Do you think Leslie and I are that technically inclined?????????

But then again...I would probably have to actually "show" Leslie how to do this...that is after I learn myself...and that would require a trip to Florida....I WONDER if I could snag another stay at the Mouse House??????

oh Leslie.... :rolleyes1

:rotfl2: That's too funny Elaine because I was going to post that I was too technologically impaired to do that...:lmao: :rotfl:
I think a few lessons at the MouseHouse would possibly suffice... however the connection there is dial up... so the cruise might be over before the photos posted....:rotfl:

Hi everyone. I've been playing around with some stuff on my computer. Let's see if I did this right. This is our daughter.

I don't have one of the whole family right now. When my husband gets back from his business trip, I'll see if he can help me with one of all of us.

Something that cute couldn't possibly be much trouble.

Well, I know you can get the "real" crocs at Nordstrom (wink, wink)!

We are staying at the BCV for three days after the cruise. The food and wine festival starts right around then at Epcot.

I know it's frustating. I love this board, but it is not real user friendly.
In a perfect world, you should be able to drag-n-drop pictures onto a post or at least be able to upload from you computer to a post. They do have a storage area on the board and you are supposed to be able to access those pictures from the My Pictures box on the edit page, but it doesn't work so well.
But I digress. What you need to do is go to a picture storage area like photbucket.com. Upload your picture. (it's easy!) Then they will provide the link address that you need to post here for everyone to see your pictures.

I bought one pair at the book store at Uni. of Wi at Madison and the flip-flops at Dick's Spoting Goods. However, they seem to be the same price everywhere.

Wow, you guys have been BUSY in the last week. :goodvibes I like both pin options, and the lanyard is pretty cool looking. Any way I can help if you all need some help? Just let me know!

Methinks from the looks of this board, the Wonder may be powered by DIS energy come Sept. 17! You guys are amazing. :wizard:
