My DH and I are doing Disney's night before package. Don't know if you are doing your own air or having Disney do it but if your air is included with the cruise package this is a great way to go. They guarantee you don't leave before 9 am the day before and will arrive by 6 pm. You stay at the Hyatt where you are given instructions on what to do the next morning when you check in. We did this the last time we sailed with Disney and it was a very relaxing way to get to the ship. Your bags are collected outside your room by 8 AM and you see them next in your stateroom. As Bob says, a little pricey but a very relaxing way to go.

If you are not doing Disney air there are any number of hotels that have shuttles. You might check with DCL as to where to catch the buses for the port. I am sure they can tell you. The buses run from early morning until around 3 PM.

We booked a room Friday night by the airport- something I purchased off of hotwire, but I don't remember what it is. We are then picking up a car Saturday morning & are transferring to the Pop Century and diving to PC the next morning & dropping off the car- cheaper than transfers.


In the past we have stayed at the Amerisuites by the airport & taken the hotel shuttle back & forth and have taken the DCL shuttle to the port- worked just fine

We will be gettting our own airfare most likely, DCL wants to charge us $364.00 per person from PHL.

Where do I find the exact price for a pre-night at the Hyatt? We only need one-way transfers too since we are getting a rental at the Port on the return and staying a couple extra nights after the cruise near Universal Studios.

We are renting a car from Port Canaveral since we will be getting off the Magic on Saturday morning and then returning it to the port on Sunday. Don't know where we are staying yet. My travel coordinator hasn't told me yet. Oh Pedro!!!!

Jim,

The Hyatt is the one that DCL uses. When we did it two years ago it was $180 dollars, I am not sure what it is this year. It was included in our final price. I am not sure if they will sell this package without air but it might worth contacting them if you are interested. DCL would be able to tell you if they could do a one way or not also.
