Suzie, Hang in there. Save some of those orange cream ones for me I like them. Really. Marshmellow is not that bad either. :sunny:

We too lost a family member over the weekend.

Slick the cat had been with us for 17 years. She moved from California, to Oregon, to Maryland, and lastly to Arizona with us.

She was really great with the girls and seemed tied to our three year old Kayla. We knew she was passing and wouldn't make it through the night. The girls came in and said goodbye. Jenna stated "Don't worry Slick, you are going to a place that is beautiful". Amazing for a six year old. They cried for a little while, but somehow understood. Luckily Slick passed quietly in her sleep and the girls now believe death is peaceful. Quite the learning experience for them.

gouodux: sorry to hear of your loss :sad1:
My MIL just had to put one of her ferrets to sleep and when we went to her house this weekend my 2yr old DD kept asking "Where is twiggy"?

On a brighter note, I just put in my order for my fish extender. I cant wait to get it!! :goofy:

My parents, 2 sisters and their families are on the magic right now. I'm not sad that I am not with them, just sad that I am not on Mickeys boat!!!! However, I could not see spending the money that they spent to go now when I could get 4 more nights for a cheaper price!!! :sail:

gouodux, sorry to hear about Slick.
After 17 years, you must have so many wonderful memories.
I know how hard it can be as we lost Furval last summer after 16 years.

So sorry for the loss, but yet there are many great memories to be relished, which make us richer in life.

It never fails to amaze me how deeply their little paws touch our hearts. gouodux, here is a hug for you as well:

:grouphug:

I'm so sorry about Slick.........as my Dad would tell me, now they are up in Heaven playing on the beach with all their friends. That has always comforted me... :grouphug:

So sorry for your loss. You grow so attached to them, it's hard to see them go. I'm glad it was peaceful for Slick and the family

Gouodux,

So sorry to hear about your loss. :sad2: It is always hard to lose a pet. It is amazing sometimes how well children understand things. It is a sign of good parenting. :thumbsup2

SuzieDizney,

:grouphug: Hope everyone gets better soon and things slow down a little at your house.

Glad everyone likes the extenders. Will have those that were requested last weekend out by the end of the week. Hope to have a few made up ahead, too, so that no one has to wait while I am recouperating.

Carol

Just a thought....

UNTIL we each get our special lanyards and name badges...

Last May when we went on the First MAGICal West Coast Cruise to Mexico, the DISers wore Alien/Lime Green upon boarding and we also made name badges out of the Home Depot Alien Green Mickey Head paint chips. It was the ideal beacon color to help us recognize each other and there were several people in the terminal jealously asking us "Who are you lime green people?... are y'all in a club or something?"

So what do y'all say we all wear something lime green to board the ship? T-shirt, baseball hat, scarf...whatever... but something to unite us even BEFORE we board?....

Opinions please...

Oh my God! Sometime today, the 2 BILLIONTH guest will enter the Disneyland park. I think I am about to take the day off. :donald: Who ever it is gets all kinds of prizes, and gets to ride the ride of their choice WITH Mickey Mouse AND be the grand marshal of the parade!!!!!!!! :mickeyjum

counting down the days...this will be our first vacation with our son who will be six months old!

Let's all wish Bob a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. He will be the ripe young age of 52!!!! :hourglass .. Luv your hippy gal. :hippie:
