Wow, 2:00 AM! That's late! I hope you have a great time :cool1:

Yeah, we didn't even make it to 12!!!! It was way too busy. I can't remember the last time I saw a line past the gates for the Haunted Mansion!!!

I don't ever remember MK being open that late, but, then again, I have never been down there in June. I've only been down in mid August for my 50th birthday party, otherwise our normal times of the year are in October, early December or early May.

Regular hours are till 11 and then it was EMH until 2. Our normal is early Dec. as well so this is a bit of a shock to the system. Although Epcot wasn't that bad today.

My Friend Vicki!!!!

So are you getting excited? Did you get all the excursions you wanted!!!:flower3:

Hi Beth,
I see you found us.:goodvibes I hope you had a good time with pedicures and margaritas!:dance3:tonight.

OH MAN! When I opened up my user CP and saw you were the last one to post I got all excited thinking you kids were coming on this cruise. Well, shouldn't you?

.

I certainly think they should!!!!! They would rather go on the Baltic cruise with strangers:scared1:, and to Hawaii than come on this cruise.:snooty::sad2::sad1:

We're on the 8.15am too. I feel sorry for any non Dis'ers on that tour!!:scared1::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

It sounds like it will be a lot of fun. They have a tour in the afternoon as well, as I recall.

I much prefer to do this sort of thing in the morning, then have the rest of the day to wander and relax.

I can only imagine what the crowds must be like, though the staff cut backs probably haven't helped the situation either.

Of course we will probably all be split onto different coaches - unless we stick together in the line!!

We found our FE!!! It was in the garment bag in the loft. John no doubt thought we wouldn't be using the garment bag until another cruise, which is true of course. Our over the door organiser was in there too, so it saves searching for that when the time came.

All I need to do is change the cabin number and glue a few things down that came loose.

Glad you found it. I too will have to do some major re-glueing when the time comes.

Monica, have you decided if you want to do a lanyard gift giving FE Team? I'm in if you do.

I think tomorrow night is the 75 day booking window for all our first time cruisers. Good luck with your bookings kids. And don't forget, you can always add/tweek Palo reservations on the ship.

.

We are on an early morning tour and are back at 12:45 PM. It would be great to have a walk around with you after lunch!

I get back at 1230p from the Discover Scuba excursion - can I join???

Did they say why?

You can get to the baths by yourself - cheaper than DCL - that is what we are considering.

-Kay

That's a shame. I wonder why?

Hi Jennifer, I was just going to send you a pm but see you already found out the sad news  This was the excursion I booked too, and was really looking forward to it! I was checking on line last night after work just in case a Palo brunch became available (it didn't  ) and noticed that my Baths excursion was gone, and no longer available to book. I called DCL and they said the company providing this excursion to DCL had cancelled with them. Not sure this is true, but it's what they told me. Last night the only other excursion going there, the tour to Virgin Gorda was completely booked. I tried to get them to sqeeze just one more in (me!) but they couldn't and wouldn't put me on a waiting list either. Someone was supposed to call me back today but they didn't. I was at work all day but I do have call display...no calls! Anyway, I just went on their site and the Virgin Gorda tour is available again, so if anyone's interested in that one I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too. I wonder if they've added a second tour or if someone just happened to cancel? Does anyone have a starting time other than 7:45? I thought about doing this on my own too, but since I'm travelling solo it really would be on my own and I'm just not quite that brave

Kathe

They didn't say why. Oh well. I can't get that upset over something I can't control. For now I've booked the 7:45am Tour of Virgin Gorda but I have to speak to DFi to see if he wants to keep that, try the Baths on our own or do the land/sea tour.

::yes::

Lunch in Lumineres (12-1:30P), Topsiders (Asian buffet 12-2P), Goofy/Pluto/Pinocchio (11A-6P) Based on the first Tortola Navigator.

Has anyone reserached Tortola eateries??

.
Gotta hit the shower and run by the hospital for some pre-op tests (outpatient procedure on Thursday) then Peg and I and I think some other pals are going to see "My Sisters Keeper".

.

Restaurants:

I have the 2008 Fodors in front of me and they highly recommend Roti Palace on Main Street in Road Town. Other highly recommended places are Spaghetti Junction and Capriccio di Mare (both Italian inspired places)

Or as John says, get out of the heat in the hot of the day....go to Signals and swim.:goodvibes

I'll be the last one on because I'm the slow poke and they usually let me sit up front on the buses. Maybe we can all sit together on the boat.

That's excellent news....and it makes perfectly good sense to store it in the garment bag along with the organizer. Just who would think to look there. haha. I'm glad you found it. That's a relief and one less thing to worry about.

Roti Palace looks very good...if you just want roti.
