WOODY, you are ALWAYS OK!
Thank you for all the kind Birth Celebration Wishes. What a fun display. I was going to write this when I had insomnia at 3 am like the previous posts but the DIS froze so I went to bed.
WHY?? Michelle, because we are worth it!!
and, duration is up to the celebrant!
Actually, DH grew up thinking that birthday wishes, cards and gifts did not count unless they came on the day of the event. I needed to help him see that belated wishes are just as good, they prolong the celebration, they are not an afterthought. So I started saying I celebrate the Birth Season. It starts when I get my first card and ends when I am tired of having them on the mantle or hutch. SO, anything we do, normal or special during that period is to celebrate my birthday!
This year it is going to be a record. I got a card the week before my birthday and some e-mail greetings and cards thereafter. More cards have come. We had lunch with friends on Saturday and lunch with church friends on Sunday. We had lovely weather so went for a walk of over a mile Saturday and again on Sunday and Sunday night we ate at our favorite pub. It looks like it was picked up in northern England and plunked down in downtown Indianapolis.
I wanted to go to WDW for my free entrance celebration. He cannot be away from work now so he decided that we should go in October, use his free-entrance-on-your-birthday certificate and pretend it is mine. I think that is romantic! And it shows he is getting the idea that the thought matters not the date! That means this cruise counts too.
So it is lasting over 8 months this year.

or as some of "us" believe hope you are having a great Birth Month![]()
Why????
