Someone posted on the Podcast thread that the magazine can be found at Barnes and Noble for $15.95 a copy...

I took a look at it and it was very nice and high quality, but $80 nice? Not sure.

Today I had to cancel the second week of doing the B2B. John could not get the time off approved by his job. So we'll only be doing this cruise. Please take the B2B notation off of page one.

I'm very sad about it. I was looking forward to staying on the boat and doing the Western too. Alas, it's not going to happen.

Marilyn, both Cheri and Kathe are still booked for the B2B. Cheri will be doing a three week trip! Must be nice to be retired.

Had some stiches out yesterday (but not all) and can sit more comfortably now. YEAH!

Actually, DH grew up thinking that birthday wishes, cards and gifts did not count unless they came on the day of the event. I needed to help him see that belated wishes are just as good, they prolong the celebration, they are not an afterthought. So I started saying I celebrate the Birth Season. It starts when I get my first card and ends when I am tired of having them on the mantle or hutch. SO, anything we do, normal or special during that period is to celebrate my birthday!

I had to chuckle when I read this. Both dh's and my birthday fall exactly within two weeks of one-another (including on our cruise for dh!) so we always end of celebrating for an entire month by the time we are all through meeting up with friends and family. Aug. & Sept are terrible months for any dieting!!

I guess we will all have to miss out on the big D23 Expo - How dare they schedule it during our cruise?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got excited at first, thinking it was in FL, not CA. I thought we could hit the first couple days of it, and that it would be a good reason to go to WDW for a few days before the cruise. Oh, well. I guess an 8 day vacation is long enough with a 9 month old.

I'm really hoping there really are other special events though other than the expo.

Well, I joined D23 yesterday - couldn't resist! The lovely Monica is kindly taking delivery of the package for me as I thought the $58 delivery to the UK rather insane. Not to mention potential import taxes... So I'm keeping my fingers crossed for next year's expo as DD and I are planning a 2010 September trip - possibly to Disneyland so it would be nice to coincide...
