Hey all! First, Woody have a great time on your trip - any big hikes planned?

Second, that dessert thing is just TOO much - my teeth actually hurt just looking at photos! Weigh in today, everybody send PIXIE dust to me PLEASE!!!:rotfl:

Why oh why do people not think about their email addresses. :confused3

We received one today for our VR from Jills Crew at ... - well at least that is how I read it. DH pointed out that it can be read a different way (jill screw at ...)

now of course I cannot read it as jills crew :rotfl::rotfl:

I *think* we've figured out our pre-cruise itinerary. (We've already changed it a bunch of times!) What do you think?

We're using DVC points to stay at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge starting Wednesday Sept. 9th. We decided NOT to go to parks  ! We have 3 more park trips coming up w/in a 1 yr period for which we're getting APs. We didn't want to buy tickets for this little extra pre-trip which keeps becoming more and more extravagant!...especially since this morning I snuck a little park time into our plan anyway! :rolleyes1

Wednesday:
Arrive at VWL
Explore VWL and Polynesian
Dinner at ‘Ohana 5:00pm
Campfire & Smores at Fort Wilderness
Chip & Dale’s Sing-along
Movie

Thursday:
Kona Café at 8:40am
Pool at Polynesian Resort
Lunch at Captain Cook’s
Mickey’s Backyard BBQ 6:00pm
Electric Water Parade 9:35pm

Friday
Breakfast at Roaring Fork
Pool at Wilderness Lodge
Lunch at Whispering Canyon 1:40pm
MNSSHP 4pm :yay:

Saturday
Breakfast at Whispering Canyon 7:35am (probably will cancel to sleep in longer.)
Transfer to Port Canaveral

Sounds like so much fun! I can't believe we've got so much planned on a no-park ;) trip! It should certainly get our kids used to staying up late so they/we can enjoy everything on the ship!

Yay! We will be at MNSSHP on Friday too!

Can you get in the park at 4:00?

For those who have stayed at the POP or any value resort, I guess. Would you deal with the Disney transportation? I have heard a few horror stories. We usually stay at a moderate resort, but decided to try the value out this trip since we never really use the room. I know we always have a heck of time with the buses. We are driving to FL and will have a car.

We had 4 nights at POP in Dec 2007 and had absolutely no problem with the buses. Of course things might have changed since then. I quite liked having just one stop for each destination. Prior to that we had been at POR, and that had about 5 stops with both resorts. Seemed to take ages to really get on your way.

I've stayed at POP and had no trouble with busses. As a matter of fact, the busses can be better than they are for the mega-moderates. The only 'issue' with the value busses, is that they are always furthest away from the park exits. I'd only use the car if you are traveling to AK or to AKL for a meal...just as a time saver, if nothing else.

.

I am and no you can't.

You'll have to reenter the information and each organizer will deal with the dupes appropriately.

With that being said, I think I will leave it the way it is as page one does show me as FE. That way there won't be any dupes.

We have stayed at both value and moderate resorts and honestly find that the transportation is the same no matter where we have stayed.

Good news today!!! Our puppy Ozzy had his first follow up EKG since his heart condition was diagnosed over the weekend and everything looks good and the medicine is doing its job!!!!

Great! That's exactly what I wanted to hear.
Thanks!

DH and I and our DS's 2 best girl friends are leaving on Friday morning and driving to NC to possibly have dinner with DH's uncle, we are staying at a hotel and then Saturday going the rest of the way to..... you guessed it DINSEY!!!! We will be staying at our house so I will be watching Fireworks every night.. :cloud9:

Maybe we will do wishes... yumm... popcorn::

We have never been down in Disney for the 4th of July so I was wondering is there a "Special" fireworks presentation? :confused3

I booked several meals for us.. Cinderella at Grand Floridian, Boma, Liberty Tree, and Crystal Palace..

We are heading back home on Sunday the 5th and the rest of the way on the 6th..

We ALL need a bit of a break.. Although, I will be cleaning out our DS's room :sad1: while there and traveling down with some of his ashes to be spread around Florida :rolleyes1

Good news!!

Yay Ozzy!! :goodvibes

We're really happy with his results. We know it won't work forever, but the vet said with the way he's already responding to it he could easily make it to 9 or 10. He's 7 now.

Have a safe trip and try to enjoy yourselves even though parts of the trip won't be so easy.:grouphug:

Have a good and safe journey. Parts of the trip will be hard - things that have to be done, but try and enjoy yourselves too. I guess you have many happy memories of there.

I do believe the fireworks are special on the 4th. Mmmmmm, Crystal Palace.

Yes! We're planning to eat a late lunch so we don't have to waste much time eating at the park. We'll hit as many rides/attractions as possible and definately see the late parade. I'm so excited that we decided to go. Now I have to think of costumes or at least t-shirts. The obvious choice would be pirates and use them again for pirate night! I'm sure I'll pick something else though!
