Some of you will do anything for a free drink. :lmao: Oh well, there goes the OBC. The more the merrier I always say :)

you really don't want to test that theory, do you :scared:

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Jackie and Peg:

There will be no more grading of showers unless you tell me what that means  Just kidding, or am I :snooty:

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday to you!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

It wasn't about what is being graded, the joke is about the grade itself.

Loooong time ago.....so long I might not even have the facts straight....
Dianne was taking a French (or German?) class and her professor was pretty much right off the boat. The prof graded a paper and wrote "Very Good! D+ " on it. The poor proff hadn't mastered the US grading system it seems, and the poor student had a mild stroke. Anyway, the R-sisters have used "Very Good, D Plus" as way to show our approval/appreciation ever since Di shared the story with us.

I am thinking about putting some money into my onboard account now, for the tips and a few extras.

I am extremely distressed by bills and really prefer to end a vacation, knowing there are not going to be any bills coming as a result of it.

So, I'm going to ask a question that I should well know the answer to myself, except I'm too lazy.

What would the tips be for 2 adults for this 7-night cruise? I'll then call DCL and give myself a credit, probably a little extra for Cove Cafe and some cocktails as well. Maybe even the wine package if Monica wants to be a lush with me.

(I would just be a lush. Monica would be a luscious lush)

Not sure what the exacts are on the tips but if you call DCL you can get an amount....I don't know how to calculate that.

Does anyone know what the costs are of a wine pkg? (may have to post this on the regular thread if I can't find it). Ian - I'll let you know what I find out.

I believe its $12 per person per day which is $168 for 2 guests.

Wonder if I prepay tips on my Disney Visa, do I get the interest free option?

So $84 total per guest

I've been meaning to ask, who is combining this cruise with a stay at WDW, and if so, are you doing it before or after the cruise?

We, for the first time, will be doing WDW before the cruise rather than after.

We will be beginning our honeymoon at the Grand Floridian for 3 nights and then heading down to Vero Beach to meet up with friends! We are so excited!:goodvibes

MAN....can't they extend this through Labor Day weekend!!!!!!

Here's a report, with photos:

http://www.disunplugged.com/2009/06/24/disney-debuts-magic-kingdom-wishes-dessert-party/

Like I need to start the vacation with a sugar fest!
.
I saw that this morning and thought the same thing!!

I *think* we've figured out our pre-cruise itinerary. (We've already changed it a bunch of times!) What do you think?

We're using DVC points to stay at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge starting Wednesday Sept. 9th. We decided NOT to go to parks  ! We have 3 more park trips coming up w/in a 1 yr period for which we're getting APs. We didn't want to buy tickets for this little extra pre-trip which keeps becoming more and more extravagant!...especially since this morning I snuck a little park time into our plan anyway! :rolleyes1

Wednesday:
Arrive at VWL
Explore VWL and Polynesian
Dinner at ‘Ohana 5:00pm
Campfire & Smores at Fort Wilderness
Chip & Dale’s Sing-along
Movie

Thursday:
Kona Café at 8:40am
Pool at Polynesian Resort
Lunch at Captain Cook’s
Mickey’s Backyard BBQ 6:00pm
Electric Water Parade 9:35pm

Friday
Breakfast at Roaring Fork
Pool at Wilderness Lodge
Lunch at Whispering Canyon 1:40pm
MNSSHP 4pm :yay:

Saturday
Breakfast at Whispering Canyon 7:35am (probably will cancel to sleep in longer.)
Transfer to Port Canaveral

Sounds like so much fun! I can't believe we've got so much planned on a no-park ;) trip! It should certainly get our kids used to staying up late so they/we can enjoy everything on the ship!

That all sounds a lot of fun and quite relaxing too.

However, do you really think you could sleep in on embarkation day?:lmao::lmao:

So that would mean the total tips for our cabin would be $168, based on 2 adults, right?
