15 days for us! We leave Michigan 7am Saturday morning and arrive in Orlando at 11am. Fortunately, my son is staying at his dad's house the night before, so I'm not the one who has to fight to get him up that early in the morning!
I think I'm the only one who's traveling the day of the cruise, rather than flying in the night before, so wish us luck! Hopefully that storm going on now (Katrina) will be gone by then.
HollyTyler: We are flying in from Massachusetts the day of the cruise as well. Our flight leaves at 6:50am arrives in Orlando about 9:30. So I figure we should be at the port around 11am. I too am praying for no delays! We do have the first flight of the day, so that's good.
I am so happy! I just ound out that our FAVORITE cruise director, Rachel, will b directing our cruise! I love hearing her English accent waking us in the morning! "Good moring ladies and gentlemen. This is your cruise director, Rachel..."
Okay I think Dh is going to rent a tux after all. I decided to try on a bridesmaid dress from last year and it fits. It's black and white and pretty classic dress (for once not a ugly bridesmaid dress).
Anyways, if you Dh is wearing the tux for formal night, what is he wearing semi-formal and to palo dinner? Does he wear the tux those two times too? Or just the pants? The two dresses I have picked out for semi-formal and palo dinner will look quit funny with a tux. any ideas?
Also any know how I make an appointment to get my hair done for formal night? do I go to the spa?
Thank god it's Friday!
Two weeks from today I will be standing in Orlando airport at this time! I like flying in the day before, plenty of time to relax and not have to get up at the butt crack of dawn to be at the airport. It makes that first day so tiring and I hate losing even a minute of my cruise to that!
Still no docs yet. You know I only want them to I can get more excited!
If I don't find the type of shirt I want for pirate night, I have come up with plan B. You know I really don't care all THAT much on whether I dress for pirate night... it's just fun having something cruise related to focus on! That night at dinner I'm going to pound my fist on the table yelling... MORE RUM! Bring me MORE RUM! lol Ok so it is just by chance that I drink Captain Morgan with diet coke LOL

Stina: Glad to know I'm not the only one! My co-worker friend has told me that the airport closes down if there's really bad weather (tropical storm or hurricane), and that she wouldn't recommend flying in that day just in case. But I have to take that gamble because I have a Friday night class next semester and can't miss that night since I'll already be missing one on the cruise. So I'll also be keeping my fingers AND TOES crossed for ALL of us flying in that day!
We're traveling in a group of ten, but most of us are in our twenties. And the ones that aren't quite there anymore, still could pass! ) I'm 26 and my fiance, Jay is 29.
