Disney is releasing a package deal on 4/4 to the public. From 4/1-4/3 Disney Visa card holders can book it.

Stay, Play, and Dine for one low price.

5nights/6days at a value for $435 per person based on dbl occ. in a std room.

I just got and email from Disney Visa rewards. They don't even have this on there website yet.

I don't understand the dates. How can they release a deal on 4/4 for stays on the dates of 4/1 - 4/3?

What they're saying is this: For those people who have a Disney Visa Card, they can book this Package from Apr.1-3rd and then on Apr. 4th it's open to the rest of the public.

The actual travel dates for the package are mid-August through September 30. It's just the booking dates that begin in April.

Thank you, it makes complete sense now. I feel stupid for not getting it the first time.

For those of you lucky enought to get free dining last year. Did they come out and extend it into October? The current offering ends at the end of Sept and we have to go in Oct. Just hoping it might pan out for use Octoberites yet :thumbsup2

:sad1: :sad2: I was over anxious and bought an AP last weekend at my local Disney Store in order to get the dining discounts.
My TA is telling me not to fret, that she has a "gut feeling" that something will come out for the AP holders as well. I sure hope so.

WOOOO HOOOOOO!

I am so happy for you, and a little jealous. I wanted to go so bad (and take my mother), but I can't go in Sept because it is the first month of school (that'd look bad, hi, it's the first week of school, but can I take all next week as a personal?) :lmao: I can't convince Mom that it'll not be so hot in august, but she basically told me I'm crazy and won't go. (too crowded and hot) :sad2:

I hope this is not a stupid question, but what is the code to tell then when you book?

Beana, I am inferring from your post that you are a teacher. I have a question from a teachers point of view. Right now we have our trip booked for October so the kids miss less school thanks to fall break. My DS will be in first grade. I am thinking of changing the trip to Sept to take advantage of the free dinning. How mad is our new teacher going to be if I yank him for a week and a half? I was already expecting to have them not bee to happy he would miss a week around fall break.

the promotion is good for (Aug 13- Sep 30, 06)

Opportunity ends: June 4, 2006. There are a limited number of packages available.

you dont have to give them a code ---when you book- just tell them you want a quote for (the dates you are going) w/ the free dining.

you have to be a disney visa card holder though.

Well, it all depends on the school district, and the teacher, but I wouldn't mind. I would just like some notice, a couple weeks if possible, so that I can make work for him. He can do it at night (and won't be much). The best thing I can suggest is having him take a journal and have him write each night what you did. (He can dictate and you can take notes for him). He can also draw a picture of his favorite part of the day. When he goes back to school, the kids would love to hear about his awesome trip. One of our kids was out for a week or so and went to the Grand Canyon, Banff, and Jackson Hole, WY. She did a hiking trip, and the kids heard about it during snack for weeks. :teacher:

Sorry it is so long, but if you have any q's, I'd be glad to help!

I have a question and I am hoping you all can answer it for me. I know that when you check into the resort you keep the prcie of your first night's stay throughout your entire trip. Will this be the same for the free dining plan? Dh and I were married at DW in 1996 and will be there to celebrate our anniversay this year bringing DD6 for her first visit. Our plan was to go from 9/30 through 10/6 so that we're there on our anniversary. Will I miss the free dining?

Thanks!

Oh, and I notice it is their first trip, they'll LOVE to tell all about it. They might be sleepy when you get back to the hotel, but maybe at breakfast or before you leave in the morning, they can write a highlight of yesterday in a journal. Maybe it can even be an autograph book, and have them write something in it, and then have a character sign the other side of the page....

Sounds fun, I want to do it! HA! :rotfl2:

Hi, Everyone! Glad to hear the free dining is back! However, I won't be able to take advantage as I arrive Oct 9th (and I don't think I'd be able to change the wedding for the plan!). Does anyone remember what offers were available for October of 2005 after the free dining had expired? Thanks!

Anyone know if I have to pay the whole package at the time of booking or can I just reserve it at that price by paying for one night like I normally do?
