Sept/Oct Code watch

Me, my husband and 4 children are making our first DW trip the last week in September. I am so clueless about any of this. Tell me what to do, I want to "subscribe" I have not booked for fear that I might miss one of these codes. Can you get them to adjust your reservation is something better comes along? We are staying at ASMo, it seems the best for little kids.

Can one use AP to make a WDW package reservation that includes the dining plan?

Since non-AP holders must pay rack rate AND order park passes to get the DP, but if you use AAA you can get a discount on the room but not passes, I'm wondering how it works with an AP.

We want the DP, Magical Express, and to stay on-premise.

Thanks for any help/advice.

Sorry if I'm confused about what all you're trying to do, but you can get discounted passes from AAA.com or from their offices.

Welcome!

You are subscribed to this thread because you posted on it.

Sometimes you can apply a code to an existing booking, but sometimes you have to cancel the initial ressie and re-book using the code.

I'm using a travel agent, and she will monitor codes (I have an AP) and make any necessary changes to have them applied.

FYI: The travel agent told me that Septmber/October dates are filling up fast (we didn't get our first choice resort), so don't wait too late to book.

I would book it now. Yes, they can add the code to your ressie if there is availability.

For all of you Oct regulars. How are the pool temps in Oct? And the water parks. If I am there Oct 12-23 will I be able to enjoy them?
We go at the end of Sept. beginning of Oct. and the temps there are perfect, in the mid 80's. We're from NY (LI) and Florida's fall temps are the same as NY's August temps (in my opinion). We always go Blizzard Beach and we have no problem. I always bring light jackets for us to wear in the parks in the evenings, but I can't remember using them once. Next time I'm gonna leave them and if it gets chilly, well then, we'll just have to buy a souvenier!!!

Staying at WL 9/10 - 9/15 and can't wait!! Booked with AAA rate but waiting for AP rate - will switch if better and get the 20% dining discount for $60.

The Disney Dining Plan for APholders is $60 and is used for 20% on food and beverages at select WDW restaraunts. I think that's what they are referring to above.

Just want to clarify that AP holders can purchase the DDExperience card (which is what you described).

The Disney Dining Plan is not the same. :)

I'm totally new to this! I'm attempting to plan a Disney wedding and want as many friends/family to attend as possible - but it gets expensive! Can you fill me in on 'codes'? We could definetly use some cost saving suggestions!

Thank you!

Haven't posted in forever, but subscribing just in case WDW gives us something to cheer about!!!! :cheer2: Here's hoping!

I am hoping for an AP rate. We have a Savannah room at the AKL booked from 9/23-10/1 with a AAA discount.

But I sure am hoping a better AP rate comes out. That just means more money to spend in the parks! :lmao:

Hi, its the first timer again. Planning my trip for the end of the month of September. I've read alot of reports of people having an awesome time at the MNSSHP, but it appeared that they went in October. They are having the party on the 29th or 30th of September and I was just wondering if anyone attended the September event and if it was as wonderful as October's. pirate: :stir:

Each MNSSHP is the same no matter which date you choose, so September should be as good as October!

I've booked our Sept. 16-23 trip thru AAA. I already paid for it.....put it on my Disney Visa (so it's not officially paid for yet ;) )....would I be able to apply any codes or whatever that come out??? Bummer if I can't!

I'd be happy with the current(thru June) Disney Visa offer for Oct. That would save almost $300.
