I'd be happy with the current(thru June) Disney Visa offer for Oct. That would save almost $300.

My AAA TA said I would have to book everything from square one.

The Disney Dining Plan for APholders is $60 and is used for 20% on food and beverages at select WDW restaraunts. I think that's what they are referring to above.

Yes, that's what I was referring to. Seems like a great deal, especially if you plan to eat a several table service restaurants. Has anyone used this before and can give their opinion if it works well or not???

Someone mentioned a deal through Disney Visa. What are the details of this deal? Is it better than the AAA rate? Going Sept. 10-15 and staying at WL!! Waiting on AP code!

I sincerely doubt there will be free dining offered again this year. It was an introductory deal last year to aquaint people with the plan. I'd love to have to eat my words on this but the price has already gone up on it once so don't hold your breath for it to be free again. If I'm wrong I'll  nekkid in the middle of Main Street.

Don't do that, you might not be allowed going back! :earseek:

But I for one, hope you're wrong too :rotfl:

I'm hoping to go in September or October.... gotta wait for DH's vacation schedule! It's killing me though, now that you can book ADRs 6-months out.... I hope something is left by the time we find out! :teeth:

DDE works great! On our last trip it saved us (2 adults) $120 ($70 after paying for itself) and we're making 2 more trips before it expires. When we add in the AP savings we get on hotels, it's been well worth it.

Why not book and cancel up?

You do have to remember that Disney leave the discont codes until late as the will look at the number of booking and then caculate how much of the dicount and at what level of offering then need to make. If there are a lot of booked rooms then the less vacanices the less the potential discounts that will be offered.

Simple supply and demand. Only a small percentage fo those who book will end up cancelling just because there is no code avialable and they use these to get more guests into the hotels rasther than reward existing guests.

Well I will do that, as soon as we at least put the requests in. He just matched for a medical residency program, and we're getting all that info this week and next. He is staying where he was/is for med school, so he "knows" how it works (as far as what blocks he'll be allowed requesting, etc) but not all the details.

Believe me.... as soon as we even send in our requests, I'll probably book vacations for our #1 and #2 choices, until we find out for sure. But at this point, I'd be booking all of September through November, because I'm not sure which weeks he can ask for.

Although I'd LOVE to be there that long... I don't think we can swing it! :rotfl:

Add me to the list waiting for a discount code other than AAA!!! We'll be @ the Beach Club Sept. 29-Oct. 4!

What if you want more nights...can you get it? Do I call Disney to book? So many questions....If I have an existing ressie can I book with Disney and then transfer it over to AAA?

Help someone so many questions...so little time to figure this out since it's happening on a weekend.

Thanks for the info, I have been waiting for something like this! I didn't think I would be able to get another trip in this year, but my chances look better now  I do not have a Disney Visa, so I will have to wait till the 4th & see what happens.

That has to be in a Value Resort. I'm booked at a Moderate.

I think you can get it at the moderates as well.

I had an existing reservation during the dates. I called, and it was $500 cheaper with this code (we had booked the DDP, so basically, it is like gettign it for free). I opted to book two more nights, and was still given the same deal. (About $90 more per night for 2 adults at Pop). Also we have the Park Hopper option. Sounds like there are lots of ways to book this deal.

Not sure about AAA.
