thanks, y'all. I saved nearly $200 on my November trip to CBR.

Got through right at 7 but have been on hold for 49 min so far. I really think that they are making new reservations a priority. I have a bounceback for 2 days and want to try to get a discount for the last 2 days.

Maybe as people start to upgrade resort levels some mods will open up and POR will be available with a discount. We will stick with our AAA discount since POR is not listed on the website and as people are reporting a discount much less than the one we are booked with.

The only way we will switch is if the pin fairy would drop a 40% pin for CBR my way and I am sure the 40% days are way over.

I had a RO reservation for POR Riverside but then I saw there were no discounts today - I'm seeing on the boards 5% so I'm going to try and call to add it. (can't get through of course) In the mean time, I booked a room online at French Quarter for the 20% savings. This is crazy! Usually FQ is a small discount or rarely ever discounted.

I have an AP so I will keep both reservations until those discounts come out. IDK When that will be.

I also thought the discount would be applied and keep the old pricing for tickets, if that's the case I'm almost even with the discount and really not worth this wait, I will give it a few mins longer, kids are getting restless!!

I ended up booking online while still on hold (more than 52 minutes now....) because my room category was available (YC, lagoon view)....so ended up saving me $933.54!

Not sure whether or not to stay on hold and see if the CM gets the same numbers...

Still waiting to hear back from travel agent... but if I booked a package in February and apply the RO discount now, will I have to pay the increased ticket prices? Without the increased ticket prices (I'm hoping they don't go up!!), I'll only save about $72 at POP. Thought about upgrading to a moderate, but it'll still be $220 MORE. Waiting for a call from my TA...

Usually no...but someone else posted that they were charged the increase. I will have to wait until my turn to find out for sure.

Yes, POR does have a discount, but if you booked pre-ticket price increase you really are not going to see any benefit.

Entirely possible. Some resorts only get 5% when deals are released.

Yes I'm in the US, but Riverside isn't listed, but someone said it's actually 5% off. That's important for some folks...a discount is a discount and means the resort was indeed not excluded..just reduced.

Sorry thought u were outside the US. If I'm remembering correctly that's how they would list it on previous room discounts when FQ was only 5%. They wouldn't have FQ listed on the deal/website but when you price it out it would be 5%.

Several people are reporting not having to pay the increase for modifications this year. Last year was the first year you had to do it, and it was due to the new computer system. Maybe they fixed the glitch.

Yes, my price decrease moving from POR preferred to garden view for 7 nights was less than $60. Not worth it to lose the location.

I only need 1 night before my DVC stay and on hold, but looking online I just did every moderate and half the deluxe and no availabilty. Hopefully it's just system overload! I'll be staying at Nick hotel!

Just wanted to add... make sure the phone CM is modifying your existing reservation. Not canceling and adding a new reservation.. If it's the latter they will be charging you the new price increase.

I can see the 5% reduction online from where it was yesterday for my dates, it appears to be true that POR has 5% off.

Well that's why I added the "up to x%" on the details, because there are so many different percentages between resorts and sometimes between rooms at the same resort.

But Chip had listed POR as being excluded from room discounts and GF excluded from free dining, neither of which was told to me by my source, so I never added it here...

We talked about the possibility and even this morning I notice that POR isn't actually listed on Disney's page, yet people are getting discounts.
