Sept. 9. 2004

Me and my girlfriend are going. Also before we are going to Disney World. Land/Sea Package

We'll be there! Me, DH, DS (11) and DD (6) and our friends are going too. They have two children DD (13) and DS (10). We all go to WDW all the time, but this is our first cruise. My DH gave me the cruise for my 40th birthday and we are all very excited!

:crowded: we're going also. Me, my husband and my 11 year old daughter. This is her home school field trip.Makes her finish up early! :teacher: :flower:

Dh and I will be there - first cruise, stopping at HH on the way down (first time there, too). Can't wait!

we will be there:bounce: Me DH DS (5) DD (5).. this is a spur of the moment cruise...couldn't pass up the FL resident rate:Pinkbounc

Hi Disneyisfun! Glad you joined us. My DD is 6 and is looking for some playmates. Maybe we can get our girls together. gshoemate has a DD 6 too (I think). Maybe we can get them all together.

The FL rates are awesome. This is our first cruise and we are all very excited. I am either on this board, reading my passporter or buying "things" for my kids gift baskets. My family thinks I eat, drink and sleep DISNEY ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo They're right.

Here's to a great trip!

:chat: My dd asks this question every day. She's 11 and would love to meet some kids on board. Are the kids activities going to keep her entertained? Last time we sailed she took a friend and she did't sign up.pirate:

Ginabug,

My friends have a daughter who is 13 (going into 8th grade), my DS is 11 (6th grade) and friend's son is 10 (5th grade). Friends DD is sweet and "not too big for her britches", she always has fun with the boys and plays with my DD who is 6. Maybe we can get them together.

:chat: Honeychild,
That sounds great. She would love to get to meet your kids. Are they going to be doing any of the kids activities? She's an only child so she is greatful for any children to play with, boys or girls.:grouphug:

Less than 2 months to go!

So close but yet sooooo far.

Should be getting the tickets and all in 2-3 weeks.

Can't Wait

A very anxious 24 year old! (still a kid at heart) I love Disney

princess: My DD has made a door sign for the cruise. She asked if she would know the other DISERS from there door signs. Hope all of you that's on the Sept. 9th cruise make magnetic door signs for her to find. Ours will be on deck 7 if you're looking too. See you there.:wave2:

Hi, we'll be going on our 2nd Disney cruise on the 9th. Me, DH, DS (12), DD (11), and my father-in-law and mother-in-law who will be celebrating their 50th anniversary on Sept. 11th. My DD loved the Oceaneer's Lab last time. We had to wait up until they closed for her to be done!

princess: this is our second disney cruise too. My DD is also 11 and will be going to the lab, maybe she'll meet your DD there.
Can't wait till Sept. 9th, it is going by too slow.:teleport:

We're excited, too! We are going to Disney World first for a few days. I really loved the cruise part last time, and wanted to take a longer one, but FIL was on a "boat" coming home from Korea, and didn't really want to spend that long on a "boat." Hope he likes it - I think he'll be surprised at how nice it is.

When does your daughter turn 12? Going into 5th grade or 6th?

:earsgirl: DD turns 12 next June and will be in the 6th grade this year. She was a little disappointed, my brother in laws family was suppose to come with us this year on cruise but he got orders to head back to iraq so they had to postpone plans. Hope yall make a door sign, it's fun to look for them on board.:wave2:

I don't know much about the door signs, but I read something about picking up the Mickey-shaped paint chips at Home Depot, so I picked up 4, but I'm not sure what to do with them.

we just picked up some poster board, the size you'd make yard sale signs out of, and some magnetic tape strips, and some stickers out of the scrap book section. DD made sort of a poster with our names and date of trip to hang on the cabin door. I think most people use the mickey heads to write their names on and fasten them to their door or poster with the magnetic strips. Hopr that helps.:jester:

My DB and I will be on this one!! I just booked it yesterday:bounce:

I just got off the phone after adding the "Romantic Escape At Sea" package:tongue:

I am just BEYOND excited that we're going in only a month! I was too afraid we might miss out on Palo and the Spa with such a short cruise - so I thought the package was worth signing up for!

Any other couples out there cruising on this one?? I'm excited about some of the adult activities like the wine tasting and everything:Pinkbounc

I just signed up DH and I for REAS, too - for mostly the same reasons! I don't know why I hadn't done it earlier - I knew we wanted to do Palo and knew we both wanted massages... finally it all came together in my brain and I emailed my TA right away to add it.

I especially like the idea of taking our champagne from our gift to Palo's...
