Sept. 7, 2012 - Magic NYC - Canada

Happy Thanksgiving to our fellow cruisers!
DH and I are counting down the days until our December trip to WDW and our first time on the Dream. :cheer2: This is the only cruise we have on tap for 2012 after 3 in 2011 funds and DVC points are running low!:rotfl2:

no not the fishessssssssss :lmao:

Hi there :-) Glad to see you on this cruise - it will be nice to have a Thieving Table

Hi there!:wave2:

Rich and I have late seating. I read that you and Deb have early. We have never had early, we may have to give that a try. I'll talk to him and have Marla (agent) waitlist us.

We have and will take the Amtrak train out of BWI into Penn Station. A wonderful ride. We took lugguage, one suitcase each and was no problem. Taxi's lined up at Penn station to take you where ever you want to go. I priced Amtrak for this September (as we are sailing Sept. 7, 2012) to get a feel for the price. Fare was $45/pp one way!! Can't beat that! I say check out Amtrak.

We plan on catching Amtrak out of BWI. Do you park at the airport as well?

I'm sure you will enjoy the Dream. We sailed on her in April and go again the end of next month.

We'll be joining you on this cruise too! It will just be DH and myself, our first cruise without kids, and our first cruise as gold members.

Hoping everything works out, as DS will be off to college and DD is in need of someone to stay with her. But I'm hopeful all will work out.

We're looking forwards to being able to drive to the port!

Lauri

I posted on the main cruise thread, the new iPhone ship mate app, has excursions listed. They aren't the DCL excursions but will give you an idea of what may be coming from Disney. :thumbsup2

Do you have to have an Iphone to access???

Hi all! I'll be joining you for this cruise along with my DH and my DS who will be just shy of 1 yr at the time.

We're NJ residents and just couldn't pass up a Disney Cruise right in our back yard...it's literally a 15 minute drive (unless there is traffic...then a 2 1/2 hr drive to port) for us.

We're also booked on the Fantasy for Oct 2012 with a week at WDW at BLT just prior! This will by my 4th sailing and DH's 2nd...of course 1st for DS!!! Can't wait!!!!!

:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

DCL has put up the port adventures for NYC. Hopefully it won't be long until they put them up for Halifax and St John.

Also the ones for Port Canaveral for the 8 night Bahama Cruise. What's up with that? :rolleyes1The little stinkers.

hubby and I are more than likely changing to this cruise from the June 2 night cruise to no where.

We've been on both Magic (7 night easter) and Wonder (10 night southern) with our oldest. This trip will be without the kids. I feel a little guilty because we will not be home for our oldest sons actual bday, but will also be onboard for our anniversary.

Happy New Year fellow cruisers. Well we are now in the year we are sailing! Looking forward to this cruise as it will be later in the year that we normally cruise so the days may go by slow.

DH and I are from Long Island and we will be sailing with a couple from NJ and 3 couples from St. Louis MO......we meet the couple from NJ and 1 couple from MO on the 2008 EB Panama Canal cruise and have been cruising together since.

Is there a FE group attached to this Cruise ?????????

I don't think it's been mentioned. If you are up for the challenge go ahead and get the ball rolling. Since this thread is rather quiet you might as well keep the info on this thread rather than starting a new thread.

BFF who is in the state room next to DH and I would participate. We have to bring something small and light since we have decide to take the train to NY from Williamsburg VA. Still working on the hotel for the night(s) before the cruise. Sue
