Sept 5 2010 "Labor Day Getaway"

We've never done a B2B, much less B2B2B! :)

I'll admit to it....I am always up REALLY late the night before we leave doing my last minute packing. :)

I'm looking forward to meeting everybody.

What is the deadline to sign up for FE? We're trying to decide...basically, it's how much can we lug on the ship before they make up sleep in the baggage hold? :cutie:

I'm up really late the night before we leave as well and I have NO excuse because I don't start work until 4:30p which means I have ALL DAY to pack - but do I do that? Nooooooo. No, I wait until I get home from work that night at 11p and then START, lol. At least that's what I did the last trip to Florida we took, and I can't see this one being much different, lol.

Thanks for the welcome! I actually have pretty specific plans made for the pre-cruise stay. This whole trip is actually a surprise for my wife. I want to hold off from telling her, but I'm too excited about it. I'm not sure how long I can hold out.

We arrive on Sep 2nd, which is actually the day of our Anniversary, and we always like to start at MK, so I made reservations at the Royal Table. We will be doing HS and probably Downtown on the 3rd. And then to finish off, AK in the morning and Epcot at night on the 4th. Pretty full schedule, but we've done it before (although not with 2 in tow...).

Did I read in an earlier post that your daughter's BDay is Sep 9? So is mine!

What a sweet surprise! Is it still a surprise? I am no good at keeping surprises either!

It does sound like a busy schedule but I am sure you guys will be fine. We have done WDW 2 times with our little ones and they have always done great! You will be surprised at how well they do... I am sure. There is so much to see and do that they will just be in complete amazement!

I guess you guys are getting park hoppers. We have not decided yet if we are going to get PH tickets or tickets to Night of Joy. We will probably only get one or the other. If we don't get PH, then we will have to make a choice between MGM and Epcot... hmmmmm

Yes, our dd will turn one on Sept 9! That is so neat that your dd turns one on the same day.... we should have them an onboard birthday party :goodvibes
We are going to celebrate her first birthday at CRT. I am so excited!

I mistyped my last post. It's actually MY birthday on the 9th. My dd's is in the last week of August...

Well, so much for the surprise. I blew it on Mother's Day. I figured if I had to suffer with knowing about the trip 100+ days before departure, she has to suffer with me. We haven't told our ds yet. I'm not sure I can take 3 months of the inevitable "Can we go see Mickey now?" We have a trip planned in July to go to OBX and he won't stop talking about that.

Okay, that beats my last minute packing! :goodvibes

Hello- please count the HIltons in for the exchange- What types of things should we do? We didn't participate during our last cruise.

Also, we aren't planning on participating on any excursions in Nassau. My husband and I have been considering the couples cabana massage at Castaway Cay. Has anyone done this? Is it worth it? my hubby and I are looking to do something special just for us.

102 days and counting!

Anything you think you'd like to do. We're doing things that represent our home states, like Mardi Gras beads, something with shells, and something to do with weddings since my son is getting married. For the kids I've already picked up different Disney related things I think they'll like. Check out the thread on this board about FE exchanges and the one about crafts on the main board, they may help. Almost to June, then only July and August left!!:woohoo:

Welcome aboard mickeysgirl05!! If you can please give me names of everyone, and ages of any kids, I can add you to our list. Also cabin number if you can. You'll find lists on page 3, post 43, and another one on page 6 that separates adults and kids. Good to have you with us!:woohoo:

LOL, the funny/strange part about the whole thing is I'm a HUGE pre-planner. I'll preplan at least a year ahead and I'll preplan just about everything super-early right down to the tiniest detail, but for some reason I procrastinate when it comes time to pack for the actual vacation. :lmao:

I am the same way!!! When we go on the longer cruises, I have a notebook with a tab for each Port... coupons (for places), site seeing info, etc. I have a list of what we need to take, where we're staying, everything..... but then I end up packing like a crazy woman at the last minute. Maybe this year will be different.... :rotfl:
