Ok, I just looked and sure enough, it's there. Exotic Rasul for $83. I looked at the times and it is open for all times. Maybe they just put it up on the site. Run, don't walk, if you want to book this.

Wow I went outside to check on the painters and I come back and you guys have filled up 3 pages! You all aren't getting excited about this trip are you?

We didn't book anything ahead of time - just going with the flow. We will be to the Port as soon as we get done with breakfast at Chef Mickey's. Our reservation is for 8 AM. I like to walk around the ship and take pictures before everyone gets on board. You can never have enough time on the ship!

Scott... Hmmmm Walmart vs. Colwater Creek??? I vote for WALMART hands down :rotfl2: BUT I ALWAYS vote for a SALE too! :goodvibes

Maybe since Brandon is coming too, I can get Joe to wear a grass skirt. Since I don't know our rotation I'm not sure how to plan that one out... We'll definitely bring the pirate outfits, and probably the tropical shirts too. If I knew we would be at Parrot Cay a night other than Pirate night, the grass skirts would be a go! Also, Lynn + Linda... I'll be bringing the light up flippie floppies! :rotfl:

Hey Linda... sent you a PM about dining...

We too are taking it easy... very laid back for this cruise... still burned out from all the planning/packing/unpacking from the PC cruise
.

Yes....I can pack the grass skirts. No problem!

BTW......was in Walmart yesterday.....all the blinkie blinkie flip flops were $5 a pair. So called DD and of course, she wanted a pair. I should have stock in Walmart!

Linda

Do you think if you just wrap some of them up really pretty, she'll think they are new ones?

For those of you who know, how is the souviener shopping on the ship? Cameron I don't worry about. Walker's learned that he doesn't want items for himself, he wants them for the daycare kids. ;)

Well I never seem to have any problem spending money on souveniers on the ship.

I want to check out that DVC owner only Disney Cruise Ship you can buy that was mentioned back in May right after the PC cruise. Anyone got one of those yet?

do those flip flops blink? If so do they come in adult sizes as I think I must have a pair!

Thanks for the reminder you guys that we can book things tomorrow - lol - not that I am planning on booking anything, however one never knows what might get me excited.

I want to check this out too. It would look so cute on my shelves with all my snowglobes and such!

Blinkie Blinkie flip flops! I want to know more too! I have a bit of a shoe fetish, and since I'm already bringing 8 pairs with me, what's another one? :confused3 Oh, and I just won LIME GREEN CROCS on ebay :Pinkbounc .....so you'll all recognize me!

Forget the kids, I might want something like this. I must have missed it when it was first mentioned. :confused3

Can anyone enlighten me?

We had so much fun with the blinkie flippie floppies (as we called them) on the Panama Canal cruise.

They came from Walmart, and yes... the NEAT thing is that they light up when you walk! :goodvibes I actually stood in the shoe section dropping the flip flops to see what colors they blinked! :rotfl2:

If Walmart still has them, they are FUN. Bought mine early in May and they still blink. There were children's and adult sizes. Our Walmart was all sold out, but it sounds like in seaulater's neck of the woods they still have some!

Hey... our Walmart is putting up Halloween stuff  The summer stuff is on it's way out.

Is this your first pair? I was not interested in them until I saw them at Nordstroms one day. They are extremely light. I love my Birkies and would have a hard time giving them up. But, they do get heavy. It would take about 10 pairs of crocs to weigh the same amount.

I would have probably tried a pair on if they were not in the process of clearancing them (none in my size). Maybe one of these days I'll venture into the sporting goods store when I heard they carry them.

I admit, this is my second pair....I easily get addicted to things! I have a sea blue pair that I love. While they definitely don't replace my Birkies, they come a close second. They are SO light it's like you don't even have shoes on your feet. I LOVE funky shoes  and these get alot of weird looks, but are so comfortable, I don't mind them. They do come in "normal" colors, but I prefer the attention getters! I'd let you try mine on when we are on the ship, but you may not give them back to me!

Georgie answered the question about the Blinkie Flippy Floppy Thingies, yes they have them at Walmart, Still available here in Casper, WY. $5 a pair such a deal, we will pack ours.

Grass Skirts might just have to have one for tropical night or even sailing away. Linda you haev the best photo to post...

What Is Vmk?

I think this is a virtual "game" where you go through the magic Kingdom following or hunting for "clues"... I've neve3r played so perhaps someone elso can jump in and help out my waek explanation... ;)

Gee you are getting to be chatty.

Oh great, banana boat rides. Must check out the ressies for them.

What Is Vmk?

Need to find blinkie flip flops.....Walmart is open 24 hours!

What is VMK? It's an online game (free) where you go around the virtual park and play games like the jungle cruise, pirates and fireworks. There is also a Hidden Mickey search. You chat with other players, have your own rooms where you can host parties and games and collect pins. It's highly addictive, there are LOTS of DIS members that play and we have our own hangouts. Check out the whole new board for VMK here on the DIS too! But hear my warning....VERY ADDICTIVE!!!

If I go out at 10pm to find flip flops DH will have me institutionalized!!

Alikat comes through again :cool1: ~ We're booked for Rasul (not her and me...DBF and me :teeth: )!

Now, for seasoned REAS cruisers ... how do I request the Spa Ta/ester (seen it spelled both ways) instead of the Couples Massage? It's not listed as one I can book online (or is it Alikat?!?!? ). Do we just tell the massage therapist when we show up that, that's what we want?

Also, I should I pack something Tropical too? When will DCL/DVC give us an answer?

Lastly, I forget what time the ship starts sailing away from PC....

Thanks Everybody!

I'm glad that you were able to book that. It's just funny that I had just been on the DCL site about an hour before. I actually contemplated booking it for DH and I, but I knew that it would be tough with the girls, so we'll try it another time.

This one I think that I can answer. I believe that the ship sails at 5pm.

Thanks. It doesn't conflict w/ Rasul. We'll stil enjoy sailaway (DBF's fav.)

I was thinking of "saving" something for next time too. I always fear that there won't be a next time...how silly when I own DVC :flower:

If my countdown clock isn't set for the next trip before I leave for one I get very irritable. I will try hard to convince DBF to book another cruise while onboard. He loves the ships so it won't be difficult...I hope ;) .
