Just checked our booking - we had booked Cat 12 GTY and our stateroom number is 2640 - free upgrade to a Cat 9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were also given a connecting cabin.

We are not travelling with anyone.

Probably just the cabins that they had left unfilled when they went to assign cabins for our cruise.

Not our cruise - they sail 8/28! Phew! I could only imagine the chaos as they closed off sections of the ship for filming!

Deck 6, Category 11, still an upgrade and you are extremely close (right around the corner) to the forward elevators.

We are a family of three so I was preparing myself for being in one of the Cat 12 cabins.
But I guess some cat 9 sleep 3.
ok by me.


I asked DH if it felt more "real" now. He let out a big belly laugh.
I think (in his mind) because we booked in March
(soooo long ago - to use his words) that he weren't this close.
GEEESH! I've had a count down on the fridge going since prior to 180 days!

I'm pulling together the little things that will make our trip great.
I need to get a move on the FE. Looking forward to the list with kid's ages.

If my exel is right we have
42 kids
21 are boys
21 are girls
with around 30 cabins. (yes, I counted the grownups only too)

I just wanted to get a rough idea of how many treasures to budget $ and space for.

Thanks for counting up at the kids/cabins. It would also be great to have kids ages. I will update my info and maybe everyone else who logs on in the next week can update also to make it easier for churros to put together the final list. We are looking forward to doing the FE's and in our party is Me, DH, DS age5, DS age3. HTH us get organized I can't believe we only have a month to go!!!

So does that put us at about 102 with adults (guessing at 2 addults per room, probably a slight over estimate)?

Still don't know about a name...I noticed someone on the recent cruise named their trip "Stay Away Fey" We could always use something along those lines...Hurricane Seasonears, Tropical Sailears...

Sorry, I'm an accountant...we're not creative by nature...I think they drill the creativity out of us in college. I'm sure it's a prerequisite to graduating.

What part of N. California are you in?? We are from Elk Grove (just south of Sacramento). I would love to intro our DD5's. Mine is the only girl w/ 2 older brothers, so she loves meeting other girls.

Hey Dino Family,

We are not far at all, we are in the East Bay (30 minutes east of the Oakland Airport)

DD is very social and an only. I am hoping she finds a friend or two this trip. We normally pal around together as a trio or she enjoys her daddy time enormously.
But I think it would add something to her expirence to make a connection with someone her age.

I remember going to Girl Scout camp and building strong bonds even if the time spent together is limited to summers.

Today she spiked a high fever and has been nervous about starting 1st grade. (we are on day three here)
Quite a difference from the joyful kindergartener who skipped to school everyday. It makes me so sad.

I had a moment today where I fantasized about the cruise.
She was back to her joyful happy kid self. No worries.
Our house is pretty calm so vacations are about adventure more than stress release (for the girls anyway). Today was the first time I saw this trip as getting away from it all.

I'm ready for a little Disney magic

edited to add: What a difference from my mood in the first post today (cabin assignments) to tonight (DD is sick).

dino mom- thanks for the list. Just wanted to let everyone know that the two adults and 2 boys ages 6 and 4 that are under tommyboy88 are actually us, lisagirl88. My brother on his first post had added us in, but now that I joined the thread we can be separate. You have us on the list, so we can just delete the 2 adults, 2 boys under tommyboy88. Thanks!!!!

One other small correction to Jesters count. In SR 6528, there are two boys, one age 3 and one age 4. All other info is good. Thanks for getting this all together. I am still collecting things for the FE, but am anxious to get some final counts so I know how much to bring.
