Sept. 28th, 2008 - Oct. 2nd, 2008 * Wonder 4 Night *

Hey everyone, We are in the process of booking this cruise ourselves. It will be me and my wife, our 4 year old daughter, and my wife's parents from Portsmouth, VA (thought I saw someone on here from Chesapeake). This is our first cruise and really looking forward to it. I have been on a few cruise ships though and the disney ones are very nice so really looking forward to it.

Welcome aboard coastie and family.

I'm sure that your family will have a fabulous time onboard the Disney Wonder.

I know that I do every time that I sail :boat:

Thanks guys! Really looking forward to it. Anyone know what the deal is with the guaranteed cat 10 staterooms. I keep hearing that they cant get an exact stateroom so no guarantee as to how close we will be or if we can get connected rooms...... Is this typical? I would just hate to get stuck far from the in-laws.

I'm so excited!!! I finally bought our plane tickets last night. I've spent HOURS online comparing prices and finally found a good price. We actually have to drive 3 hours to Columbus OH, but got 2 frequent flyer tickets for $5 each, and then bought DD10 and 6's tickets for just over $200 each! Grand total--just under $500. If I'd bought them to fly out of our home city, it would have cost around $1000 :scared1: My van gets good gas mileage, so it shouldn't cost but around $100 to drive there and back. Now, we just need to figure out how we're going to work our land portion of the trip.

We're booked at the Beach Club for 3 nights before the cruise but are planning to do a room-only there the night before that and spend some time hanging out at SB. We're actually flying down 2 days before our package starts, so we'll be staying probably at a value the first night (much more economical than BC for 2 extra nights!). DH is afraid the girls will be too antsy to get into the parks, though. Our park tickets aren't supposed to be valid until Thurs. and they give us 4 day park hoppers. We're wondering if they'll go ahead and process those so we can begin using them a day earlier :confused3 We're not sure how they expect you to use 4 days when you have to leave by noon on Sunday to get to the ship :confused3 We may actually have to cancel our package as land/sea and book them separately, so we can get the park tickets we want, even though our TA checked and compared prices, and the land/sea was cheaper than booking separately (like $200!). Wouldn't be as big a problem if we were not doing dining plan, but it's a great deal for our family. DCL won't let you extend the land portion of your package if you're doing dining plan. TA says DCL's computer won't let you do it :confused3 Any advice anyone?

Hi, My family is on this cruise too. We will are on the 9/25 also. We are doing a b2b. On this cruise there will be. myself, DH, DS 10, DD 5. I am also interested in the fish extenders. We are staying in room 7026 and have first seating.

Hey did anybody notice that yesterday was 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days until our cruise:woohoo:

Hello all. I have a hold on this cruise and 99.9% sure we are booking it. :cool1: We are in a GTY 6 room. Have cruised on RCCL a few times and have been to Disney many so now we are combining the two. I was all set to do Universal for a few days but then I saw the MNSSHP dates and I am really torn now. We LOVED the Halloween party a few years ago but we have to go to Universal because we can't pull ourselves away from Disney. UGH! I guess I should finalize the cruise first. ;)

By the way, it will be myself, DH and DD7

Welcome to our party! I have a DD6 who will be on the cruise, too. She will be turning 7 just 1 month before the cruise, so hopefully we can get them together!
