Hmmmm my waist and neck do not seem to agree with any of my dress clothes.
Perhaps you have the shirt upside down?

Hmmmm my waist and neck do not seem to agree with any of my dress clothes.

My wife and daughter want to tour the cabins on the 27th. What do they need to do to get in on this?
Anyone else suffering from pre-cruise anxiety?
I'm a first time cruiser sailing solo with my 4 year old boy! Am I crazy?! What was I thinking?!
When I first booked I imagined how relaxing and perfect the whole trip would be....and now reality has set in...8 hours on a flight with a 4 year old who doesn't sit still...Will I lose him on the ship...Will he have a "4 year old" moment and will I WANT to lose him on the ship...Will I forget to pack anything...Is everything that I'll need on my packing list...am I packing too much... I won't bore you with the list but the anxiety goes on and on and on!
Pleeeze tell me that once I get on the ship that somehow magically it will make all of my anxiety melt away and I'll be able to relax?!
have plenty of compact entertainment options. Last year we took Jenna (then 4 rs old) from NC to CA and she did better that we ever thought she would. Sending happy thoughts
As for the cruise - relax. you will love it! Don't worry about losing him: Mickey will take VERY good care of him while we, your DIS friends, help you take some down time. Last year Jenna loved the club: she had one time she paged us but by the time I got there she was over it and ignored me so I left her there
Expect him to have at least 1 meltdown just because he'll be exhausted. Most of us are packing too much so you'll fit right in. Even if we all have to wear 3 different outfits the last day of the cruise to justify bringing all those clothes, we'll just do a DIS fashion show!
Oh, yes, I'll definitely be doing a TR. I have to find some way to fill the time in between this trip and my 2010 trip. Also, since I shoot in RAW format (photography) I've found that doing a TR makes me spend the hours and hours "developing" my pictures, instead of just letting them sit on the computer for years and years. I'll post the link when we get back in case anyone is interested.![]()
Hope it clears ASAP so your trip to FL (and mine) are safe. That is not my personal packing list but chances are we could help you out. With a nurse, a lumber store worker and a retirement community cook we have probably seen just about everything LOL.
Between all of us there can't be much we forgot to pack. If its not in one cabin, write it on Crystal's white board or call one of the other DISers. Chances are you'll find it in another cabin

just show up at cabin 5509 on sunday sept 27 at 3pm....we will tour 9 cabins ending up in the roy suite....
What cabin are you in bigjon?
Leave the wife and kids in steerage.
I have not been on the boards in a very long time. I had to wean myself. Two years early was probably a little much. Anyway I am soooo excited I do not think I can stand it. DH and I would like to tour the rooms, if there is still room I think DH signed up. Cannot wait to meet people and just start cruisin. A lot of 1sts for DH and I. 1st cruise alone, no children, parents, friends, et. al. 1st 7 day cruise. 1st time with a balcony, 1st time we bought special formal wear. With all of these firsts it may be the 1st time we never leave our room, except for formal night of course (tee hee, tee hee)
Best to All

This is the last call for the PJ Breakfast....I MUST have a count of how many are attending by tomorrow. The ones that I have listed are below....If you have changed your mind or are not on the list...PLEASE let me know by tomorrow so I can give Disney the numbers.....This is just so that they have enough tables set aside for us.....

I wanted to do this, but 7 am is way too early for me to be functional!
Between homework, housework, dinner, and downloading MP3s for the kids for the drive. Had to leave the house at 8:05pm for work. Unfortunately DH didn't come home from his job to take the kids until 8:15pm.
Drive like a bat outa h*** to get to work on time but - oh wait - road construction on the highway
Having a day like Jules. Oh well. (Not as bad as my friend here at work who called to say she'd be late: DH totaled the van
(he's OK
) and the kids toilet overflowed so its raining in her living room
And she only called in LATE - now that's a dedicated employee
) Tomorrow will be better.

Quick question - DH was thinking of wearing his dress uniform for formal night - should that be ok? Alternative is his formal kilt (and my man has nice legs), which could also work.
