So my paisley carhartts won't make it for formal night dress code???
Great Steelhead Safari ... Temps about 30-40 degrees with just a little rain.

Got wetter from the exertion of wading upriver, and of course, falling in the river

It is amazing how exhausting walking in a river gets!!! Caught fish everyday (1-6). Spring chromes and Winter Reds ... Wow, does God know how to use colors!!! Took their pictures and placed them all back safe and sound. Besides the usual Alaska animal sightings ... river otters, mink, bald eagles and moose, we got to see a lot of Trumpeter Swans on their northerly migration. Saw one flock of 30+ ... Wonderful experience. NO bears this year. Looking forward to compiling all the pictures and putting together a short story to submit to the fishing magazines. Have yet to get published but fun to try.
Glad to see everyone still posting and chatting.

Not too good to see that now we have to watch out for the clothes police ... along with the nap police.
Okay LURKERS ... come on in... SmilingMouse is buying!

Having given it a little hindsight, I think my offer of a "special Alaska gift" to the person holding the BVP baton was a mistake ...

Now everyone is going to wait to get the baton ... Kinda like having the winning bid on eBay at the last second. SO ... I'm going to change the rules ... whoever travels the farthest gets the present! Okay, so in that case, I WIN!!!

Well, I guess that doesn't work either.

How about whoever has the baton on my anniversary

gets the prize?
Have I told you that this will be the first time in six years that my Chrystina and I will actually be together on our anniversary

- I bet she'll expect me to take her out to dinner or something like that!!!

Does Dairy Queen take reservations?

And OBTW, our anniversary is sometime between today and the sailing date!
And just so we are fair ... for those who have lost the baton, whoever has the MOST posts when I sign off to leave for WDW before the cruise gets a "special prize" too, okay?

That should bring out the lurkers and keep up the chatter!
Well, I have been moving furniture and "stuff" most of the day so I am off to find some dinner. And I have some other writing chores to do ...
Will check back later...
Dennis
