Oooh...I haven't seen the dress code thread. Lemme go check it out. But, it can't be long...I'm off to see Mickey tonight. We're hoping that Soarin' is open for previews. See ya soon! :wave2:

Hello to everyone!! :wave2:

I read the dress code thread too. I know not to get involved in heated threads!! Hope everyone is doing well. Take care.

:sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

Okay, I was avoiding reading that thread, but you really have me intrigued now, so I'm off to read it! :)

Almost midnight so this "old man" needs to hit the sack ... ::MickeyMo
Will check back in the morning and provide some details of my Yakutat Steelheading  BUT before I go to the "land of nod" ...

5 months 8 days 16 hours 57 minutes 21 seconds or
23 weekends or

13,971,440 seconds

:earseek:

Welcome back, Dennis! You (and your countdowns) were missed by all :)

Hi BJ :wave2:

GREAT Trip! ~ Steelhead Stories later. If someone will tell me how to post a picture on a post ... Will include one. :teeth: Now that I have slept & showered, I am almost feeling like I can be seen in public again.

BTW - I checked ... ErinC has the BVP baton :wizard:

For anyone lurking out there who doesn't want to be passed the BVP baton, please be aware that I bring "presents" from Alaska. But you have to be on the thread so I know how many "presents" I need to bring! SO as an added incentive, I will bring a "special" - "one of a kind" piece of Alaska for the BVP baton holder. And if that is not enough ... I will tell you the "secret" to hosting the Bon Voyage Party :grouphug: ... It is TRULY PAINLESS ... Trust me, I am basically lazy and do not allow crew members to fail!!! Just not any fun...

SmilingMouse - Good Job keeping us on the 1st page!

DressCode? Does that mean I can't wear my smelly waders to formal night? Not going to even read the thread. What's the issue? No jeans or shorts? Or is it something of significance? :confused3

Off to get a haircut ... Be back later ...

Welcome back Dennis, sound like you had a good time.
Hello to everyone,

No big significance on the Dress code, DCL now says ok to jeans as casual wear for all nights but formal and semi formal.
Really that thread is only good for a few laughs watching everyone flame each other about what will be worn :rotfl: :rotfl: . I only got about 1/2 way through, too much of a waste of time.

Thanks for the Countdown, I was wondering how many seconds we have left  .

Ready for some warm sunshine here in the North West........All you soccer moms will relate......Watched DD's soccer game in the RAIN!!! :umbrella:

Check ya later

So my paisley carhartts won't make it for formal night dress code??? :confused3

Great Steelhead Safari ... Temps about 30-40 degrees with just a little rain. :umbrella: Got wetter from the exertion of wading upriver, and of course, falling in the river  It is amazing how exhausting walking in a river gets!!! Caught fish everyday (1-6). Spring chromes and Winter Reds ... Wow, does God know how to use colors!!! Took their pictures and placed them all back safe and sound. Besides the usual Alaska animal sightings ... river otters, mink, bald eagles and moose, we got to see a lot of Trumpeter Swans on their northerly migration. Saw one flock of 30+ ... Wonderful experience. NO bears this year. Looking forward to compiling all the pictures and putting together a short story to submit to the fishing magazines. Have yet to get published but fun to try.

Glad to see everyone still posting and chatting. :cool1: Not too good to see that now we have to watch out for the clothes police ... along with the nap police. :sad2:

Okay LURKERS ... come on in... SmilingMouse is buying! :Pinkbounc Having given it a little hindsight, I think my offer of a "special Alaska gift" to the person holding the BVP baton was a mistake ... :confused3 Now everyone is going to wait to get the baton ... Kinda like having the winning bid on eBay at the last second. SO ... I'm going to change the rules ... whoever travels the farthest gets the present! Okay, so in that case, I WIN!!! Well, I guess that doesn't work either. :confused3 How about whoever has the baton on my anniversary princess: :lovestruc :groom: gets the prize?

Have I told you that this will be the first time in six years that my Chrystina and I will actually be together on our anniversary :love2: - I bet she'll expect me to take her out to dinner or something like that!!! :goodvibes Does Dairy Queen take reservations? :rotfl: And OBTW, our anniversary is sometime between today and the sailing date!

And just so we are fair ... for those who have lost the baton, whoever has the MOST posts when I sign off to leave for WDW before the cruise gets a "special prize" too, okay? :earseek: That should bring out the lurkers and keep up the chatter! :grouphug:

Well, I have been moving furniture and "stuff" most of the day so I am off to find some dinner. And I have some other writing chores to do ...

Will check back later...

Dennis

Anyone in this crew collect Jumbo Disney Pins? Trade or whatever?

Dennis,

What have you gotten me into...I'm buying something now??? lol....

I do collect pins, but I'm trying to stop, so I'm going to FORCE myself NOT to buy any on the cruise (not to self--do NOT visit gift shops after the pub tour, lol)
I don't have any jumbo pins, but I do have pins from DLP and a few CM pins :)

I'm off to bed
'night all

Becky

Surely if you can go on multiple Disney cruises in a year you can afford a "Round for Everyone" - H2O for all!!! Just have it delivered at dinner table.

About the pins, I seem to be hooked on Jumbo LE 100's & A/P sets. Have you seen the Stitch Morning Pin? Just a hoot!!!

Good Night

Dennis,

I'd be more than happy to have a round of H2O delivered at dinner, but I think it might be more practical to have it after the Magical Tour :) :rotfl2:

Well, it's 12 hours later (43200 seconds) and we have almost slipped off the 1st page again. :confused3 Where did everyone go? Was there an evacuation drill that I missed? :confused3 Must not be getting the posts! :badpc: Will be back later ...

Hi everyone!

Hope everyone is doing well. Just wanted to post so Dennis didn't think everyone abandoned him since his big fishing expedition! :)

Take care!!
