Hi chefmur. I am fairly new as well. I have a DD8 so I'm sure we'll run into each other. I am very excited!!

It looks like Key West got spared and the worst went south. Good news.

Don't make fun of me. I am so excited to be going on this cruise but does anyone love Desperate Housewives like I do. We will most likely miss the season premier on Sunday. Bummer.

Let's see this time next week we'll be in Grand Cayman!!!

Julie- what kind of sandals does Kino's make? Are they all leather? Do they come in colors..... like pink?

As far as Kino sandals go - they are leather and they do come in different colors - I think they come in navy, burgandy, black, white, brown, yellow, green, light blue. Let me find a picture of what I am hoping to get...

I would love to get that style in brown and black (and maybe white and yellow?!?! hee hee). Unfortunately, no pink. My favorite color!

Of course, one could always smuggle a VCR on board and try to record it... but as I've never tried it myself I can't vouch for how well it'd work...

Don't laugh, I've considered it. All the shows are new. I am a desperate housewife.....sort of, not really, but I do love a good show. Like Nip/Tuck on tonight after 1 and a 1/2 years!

Yes, that is exciting thanks for the reminder. I would rather see a great show on the ship, BUT if it's not so good that night I might just be found in my room with a cool drink toasting to the new season of D.H.! If anyone is interested I'd love company!!

Just saw a report on the Weather Channel that Key West Survives
The reporter was in Mallary square and it looked Fine no visible damage. The worst of the storm has passed. They interviewed a local businessman who said there was only minimal damage and once they get in and clean up the should be open with in 24hours........WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!

I think it is perfectly acceptable at $8 a pop to get yourself at least 3 pairs. In Desperate Housewife fashion..........we deserve good shoes for all the running we do with the children! How can he argue on that?

Good girl!! Girls NEED shoes it's inate. I wish I looked like Eva in that bathing suit ...man she's thin. They're all a little too skinny, which only feeds our fire to look like them, which is impossible unless you could afford a personal trainer and a private chef! I'm not quiet there yet.

How'm I doing? I was working out to 80's music (my favorite) when DD8 came in and said "cool mom you're sweating to the OLDIES!" Yikes. When did the 80"s become oldies? Getting older is tough!!

I can't wait to eat on this cruise....

ARGH....just finished packing the two BIIIIIIG suitcases and I'll tell ya what. 50 pounds isn't much. I had to switch things from one case to another, all the while checking the weight on the bathroom scale. Now my highlighted packing list is all messed up. Oh well, I'll find everything when I unpack.

The latest predictions from the National Weather Service indicate the storm will continue to move across the Gulf of Mexico over the next couple of days. Since it is moving away from the Caribbean, we do not anticipate any changes in the upcoming voyages of the Disney Wonder or the Disney Magic.

well folks. It's just about time. I've actually been more relaxed these last couple days than I have been for a long time. Whatever I haven't done, can't be done..and whatever I have done is completed. We've spent the last couple days sipping left-over wedding wine and just kicking back and relaxing.

Hi everyone,

Didi is sleeping now. She doesn't seem to have posted tonight, so I'll fill you in.

On her walk from the train to her office in Boston this morning she was accidentally tackled by a delivery guy in a hurry. She didn't see him coming. One moment she was a couple of blocks from work, then next moment she was sprawled across the bricks with her freshly purchased lemons and limes rolling away on the sidewalk.

Needless to say she's going to be dealing with some aches and pains. When she called me today to tell me about it she was laughing hysterically.

You know, we watch hurricanes with concern, but never think that a distracted UPS guy might put our lights out.

I'm sure she'll tell it more accurately when she logs in tomorrow morning.
