Sept 2014?

you are ADDED!!!
Not only that we have the same dates! AND i am also keeping it a surprise from my kids!!!

Want one more?? I have a set of multiples too.. :) I have twins, not triplets, but still pretty awesome!

Can I join? We just booked yesterday!

We're going Sept 6-20, staying at BCV from the 6th-14th, then moving to AKV at Kidani for the rest of our trip. CAN'T WAIT!!!

We haven't told the kids yet, we're planning on surprising them next month somehow so they can help with planning park days and ADR's.

You can add us to the list! We are going from 9/20-9/27 and staying at BCR. Can't wait!! Booked with 35% off - a bounce back from a mini trip that I took in November when I was in Orlando for work. :beach:

i don't know if we will be driving or flying right now.. Depends on flights..

BUT we will be surprise my kids by waking them up to a HUGE box. Inside the box will be balloons attached to the balloons will be a card explaing we are going to DISNEY RIGHT NOW.. also in the box will be tee shirts and fun stuff..:goodvibes

IT IS KILLING me keeping it a secret.. they talk about Disney everyday and how they want to go TODAY! I lie to them telling them we will go on their 11th birthday.. we are going for their 10th..

2 days? I have you down!!!

Yep its just for the weekend. We get there Friday evening for the concerts, spend sat at parks and concerts that night, and then Sunday at parks and head home. Have to be home for my other 7 kids. We live 2 hrs away so we go several times throughout the yr.

Thanks. I need to update it though. I just had baby #8 in nov. Reason why our last sept trip was cut short by a day. So we have two days left on our tickets. Me DD and baby are going for a weekend at the end of feb. My DD looks forward to our sept trip. Its nice to spend some time with her alone. Of course little sisters have been promised as soon as they are older they can join too.

Starting to plan our fist family vacation. this will be my firts time back since 1997 and the first time for my Wife and my three sons. Looking at the middle of September. Big decision is when to book.

Officially booked in this corner! Eek! So excited! Hope Free Dining comes out for this time frame! I already know which ADRs I need to make, and pretty well have our itinerary started.. The suspense is killing me! It's so hard not to tell my kids! And it's hard not to use it a threat to get them to do what I want.. bahaha! :littleangel:pixiedust:

These 7 months are going to be the hardest. i need the Dis to talk about this trip or i will combust!!!

I know what you mean, the surprise trips are so much fun but man it's tough to keep a secret when you're so excited!!!!! We surprised our kids the first time we went to WDW in 2011, they were 3, 4, 7 and 9 at the time. It was sooo amazing! You'll never be able to top a first trip in my mind. The surprise was a bit of a letdown for us though… we drove up the night before to stay in a hotel by the airport. Told the kids we were having a mini-holiday and going to the waterpark in the city instead. The next morning we woke them up at 3:30 to get to the airport. We had custom cards made for us from someone here on the DIS, and put them under the door so the kids would see them when we went to leave. They were so tired though and were so excited to go to the watermark that they weren't exactly excited about hearing we were heading to the airport instead! It all turned out fine and was an amazing trip, but wasn't quite the surprise reaction I had built up in my mind! LOL

I cannot agree more.. The first trip is the BEST!!!
This isn't the first time i've heard the surprise wasn't so.... surprising?? maybe it was because they were young? or haven't been there before??
are you surprising then again???

Surprise trips are hard. Even harder when you have no one to talk to about it. In 2011 I started planning a surprise kid free anniversary trip for May 2012. Well MIL who was going to stay with the kids wasn't able to get off cause her job was giving employees a hard time. So we kept our plans and changed it to a family trip. First time staying on property. So half way through I was able to talk with hubby about it. The kids we told a couple nights before. I wanted hubby to be there too since he joined us after work. They were surprised and had a fun time. This time no surprise since the little girls keep asking when they get to go after big sister had her trip. The big trip in dec of 2015 will be a big surprise. We will be staying for 10days. First longest trip we have taken.
